Ramble/description under the cut:

Here's my uhh, very unconventional contribution to @candycatfalls ford gets held down day! (I drew this a couple days late, and then I let it marinate on Patreon for like a week.) This was a few things happening at once - besides drawing Ford Getting Held Down, I knew I wanted to draw big bill + little ford, because somehow I'd never drawn them like that before and I HAD to change that. But I'd also just watched my first ever Don Bluth movie (all dogs go to heaven) and I thought it was SO BEAUTIFUL AND INSPIRING!! I definitely need to watch more traditional animation. It was totally stunning. So I tried my hand at imitating the style, or something adjacent to it.

The painted background I grabbed from the world wide web is doing a LOT of heavy lifting; I wasn't really feeling this drawing until I slapped it in the background. I don't wanna keep using art that isn't mine, so I'm gonna have to start painting some backgrounds if I want to keep doing this. Which… I kinda do honestly. I think that would be so much fun :') Aside from that, for a first attempt, I think this turned out pretty decent! I might do it again sometime.
