It’s always nice to be able to go back to a place and feel like you never left. That comfortable welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked in brought a nice warm feeling (though that warm feeling could have also been the alcohol).
FOOD: Poke (5/5), OMG this is definitely in my top 5 of best pokes that I have ever had in my life. I could try and explain it but I would do it injustice so you will just have to try it for yourself. Fried Chicken (5/5), DAMN this was broke da mouth good!! The skin was nice and crispy that it was like crack because I didn’t want to stop eating it even after I was full. And the chicken itself was so moist and nicely seasoned.
SERVICE: Absolutely good service!! They were on the ball. Always stopping by, bring napkins & plates, seeing if we wanted anything else to drink, etc. I only wish more bars & restaurants were like this.
PARKING: Huge parking lot in the back (this is also where the entrance is). We didn’t have a hard time finding parking. Even had security patrolling the area too!!
CONCLUSION: Will definitely be back!!

I have a personal belief that anything that is bad for you just tastes so dang good. Just like how medicine, it usually tastes very bad but is good for you. FOOD: The first thing you see when you get in the back are all of the wonderful delicious meat just waiting for someone to take it home to enjoy. Ranging from Turkey Tail to Roasted Duck to Roast Pork. You see those plump juicy birds hanging there? Where do you think all the fat drips down into the longer it cooks? Just adding more flavor to the fish below it. Also they have a wide selection of fresh poke that tastes really good at a reasonable price. Plus the plates of sashimi are great for grab and go pupus for that after work pau hana grinds. PARKING: It's still a headache here depending on what time it is when you go. This is due to there not being that much parking outside the store. Don't let that deter you it is well worth it in my opinion. SERVICE. Excellent service here. Even when the lines are longer it moves very fast. Even when you are difficult like me because you want the fatty or end pieces they are very accommodating!!

My Warning Didn't Scare You Off?!
Well if my warning and lack of updates in a while haven't scared you off let me give you a little bit of a background about me. I am a heart attack and triple bypass surgery survivor. I started out as a Yelp'er while recovering in the hospital from the surgery. With only my iPhone 3 at the time I started to look at Yelp reviews, at that point I decided that If I ever got a second chance I would do all of the things that I had put off thinking there would always be time later on. So through writing Yelp reviews to somewhat journal my adventures I started to use other social media tools that coupled with my love of a good challenge has lead me to where I am today.

Morbid Sense of Humor
I should warn you that my coping mechanism with my condition is to make jokes about it. This really ticks some people off that don't know me. I think I upset my nurse today when I asked her about heart transplants. She kept saying that even though the deck might seem stacked against me, that it is up to me. Well yeah I know it is up to me. But when your grandfather had heart problems (they wanted to do open heart surgery on him), your grandmother had heart problems, your father has had numerous operations relating to heart problems, then 2 of his brothers pass away before 60 due to various things, then your mother had open heart surgery at 60 what are you suppose to think? To me it's not if I am going to have another heart attack it's more like when.
