LOVE, PRELUDE.

It began rather quietly, as most significant things often do. Within the span of just seven days, or perhaps even sooner, I found myself drawn to her. No, to be honest, I knew it from the very first moment we met. There was something disarmingly familiar about her, something warm and bright. I caught myself thinking, “oh? she’s exactly my type? cheeky yet cutie.”

At first, I kept my feelings tucked away, choosing instead to send the occasional greeting through mutual friends. I even remember her yayah once asking, half-jokingly, “hey, you have a thing for Sachi, no?” I giggling and said, “Nuh uh?? I just love her doll.” A lie, of course. It wasn’t the doll, it was the girl who owned it.

There were small moments after that, little excuses to start conversations, playful gestures, even a request for a CapCut link, all in the hope of reading her text, seeing her smile, or simply staying in her orbit for a while longer.

And well, she feels the same.

This is no longer just a quiet affection or a series of hidden glances. It’s real, and mutual. So, I suppose this is where the story truly begins, where admiration turns into something official.
