“Be My Mistake” -The 1975
I logged in just now to see if you had posted anything. It’s been over a year since you had last posted but there’s a chance.
Maybe I’m just starting to see how hurt you’ve been.
All I’ve been feeling is guilt ever since I told you my feelings.

you told me to be patient
you told me to be kind
So why does it feel like
I’m always left behind

What did I tell you?
It’d be worth the wait
The lights the sounds the smile on your face
it’s here; you’re here
I’ve been imagining this very moment
When the sun sets early and the moon brings out
your glow
your glow
Finally I can say this face to face
Thank you for never giving up
Thank you for staying when things got tough
We make our promises and then we’ll laugh
Let the good times roll; let’s just relax
We’ll do what it takes to make this last
I used to visualize you coming into your full potential; despite all the obstacles we faced as individuals and as a relationship. While we don’t talk anymore; this is what you inspired.

I think I’m getting close to writing a song again! I’ve been visualizing words and melodies a little easier today.

1.2.2020
I get anxiety from driving in areas of high density. I'm at LAX waiting in the visitor's lot for my family to arrive from. Is it weird to try and anticipate how to find my family and that thought makes me nervous? I don't like going to San diego's airport alone ; let alone LAX. I arrived early just so I can drive the loop and have basic landmarks down. I feel okay right now and I just received the update the flight has landed so I'm currently on an uptake of anxiousness.

1.1.2020.
Since my last post was a fail, i’m gonna try this tumblr thing again.
I suffer from chronic episodes of existentialism. I’ve come to realize that I actually do like to write out my thoughts. So much so that I will do it more frequently this year.
Since last posting here, it’s been two years with Scripps and I’m ready to move on.
If you read this, feel free to reach out. I would love a honest conversation about anything I post. Also any recommendations on food spots would be cool too.

21.April.2018
It’s been a long time since I was on here. I think I’ll use it to actually blog out thoughts now.
Since I was last on here, I’ve lost my job, kinda slipped into a mental funk trying to keep a friend afloat mentally, seen friends lose their parents and so much more shit I can’t think about.
But I don’t focus on that. I focus on the fact that I’m still here breathing, with a new job and with a different perspective than before. I truly feel like I’ve grown since the last time I was on here so here’s to hoping that we can talk a little bit more again.

I will fight. I will work. I will make mistakes. I will take personal responsibility for my failures.I will not stop trying. I owe it to my future self and everyone else that will benefit. So as much as I want to give up, I will not.
And I must tell myself this before I sleep and before I wake.
