Hello! Welcome to my art blog. Here’s a lil bit about me. I earned a BFA from Purchase college in Painting and Drawing. I have worked with many nonprofits to redefine my paintings purpose . Which is to honor beauty within generational. Playing with the idea that In the midst of beauty there is pain.

Hey kiddos,
So sorry I can’t make it. Please complete this so we can get back to painting and you can get rewarded for your hard work !!
Step 1: Watch the YouTube video and remember to use yellow ( which symbolizes… you guessed it LIGHT) and your favorite color.
Step 2 : Watch my video:)
Step 3: Try it yourself. Don’t forget to draw/write your favorite activity or something that lights up your life inside your light bulb.
Have fun and make awesome art!

The tub, oil on canvas, 5in x 8in, 2015
This painting was my 2nd oil painting and one of my favorites. Not just because of the whispering brushstrokes but the discovery of Cobalt and Cerulean Blue.

Window to the Soul, Acrylic on canvas, 10x10in. 2017
A series created for my final, to honor my Dad. He was a butcher. And because of him I grew up in many markets. He would preach the importance of nutrients for the body, mind and soul. So I wanted revisit those animals by depicting them on or behind restrictions.

Beautifying Riverbank, 2016
I’m learning so much from the artist leading these projects and from my peers. This might just be it for me.. Painting is life! And let’s talk about that beautiful mermaid tail I painted. Took a while but im so proud of us. I’d also like to mention that this project was very special to me because Riverbank was a place a spent a lot of time at during my childhood. We celebrated everything there, from birthday parties to Fourth of July. It has been an honor to work on a project that’s brings awareness to the history of this park and the educational lessons we needed about our water. I have never been prouder to be a Harlem native.
