Isn鈥檛 it strange? Someone can feel so important, like the world revolves around them. Over time, you realize that feeling isn鈥檛 always real. That pull? It was my need. And you? You just kept drifting away. You were the flame, and I was the moth, pretending to be the hero. I kept appearing, thinking that if I shone brightly enough, you would notice. But you never reached back. You didn鈥檛 even react to the heat. You overlooked my efforts, the small gestures鈥攖ext by text, moment by moment. I felt like background noise.
