this morning i was listening to dragon town and it had me thinking about how BAD really was a way for mick to just be authentically himself and kinda geek out. by that i mean, mick is clearly someone who adores everything about pop culture, and with BAD he wrote so many songs about movies and musicians that he loved and he sampled so many things that interested him and inspired him. and that's basically what i love about BAD, it kind of demonstrates not just all of mick's interest but also the immense passion he had for everything he loved. he was just having fun and that's what i find so charming ! and that also reminds me i need to update my BAD samples playlist on youtube bc it's been a while... i also believe i have a rare version of good morning britain which i need to upload on there too !
