we stayed at the silver strand state park in san diego. great location. sites are close together but still room for putting your awning out and relaxing. we only had 1 morning with sunshine, so i took the opportunity to grab a few shots with the drone.

stopped by the salton city on the banks of the salton sea which pretty bleak and full of dead things! on the way to san diego we drove through the anza-borrego desert state park. it's expansive and beautiful.

on the drive over from the parker strip in arizona the panel covering the wires underneath the camping came undone. nothing was damaged, but we did have issues getting the AC to work in 98-degree heat. luckily the camp hosts were able to put us up in a cabin for the night. took the RV to a mechanic in the morning who fixed the issues. still not really sure why the tongue jack & the AC were not working, but it could be battery related.
the coachella RV park is large and has great amenities but we really didn't get to do much while we were there.

left holbrook, arizona and stopped by winslow and the meteor crater national park. the RV camping in holbrook was pretty basic, but great laundry facilities. good for a 1 night stop on the way to elsewhere.

last part of the trip included a stay near grants at the bluewater state park. the temps dropped so we had to do movie time in the camper. also, never pass up the opportunity to enjoy bacon & pie. :)

we stayed at the cosmic campground and i was able to get some good shots using the iphone. the campground is a dark sky sanctuary and some people show up with huge telescopes. i鈥檓 guessing the big one shown in one of my photos cost more than my RV!
