Happy to announce the new perfume scent release for the season which will be part of the MGA line. A scent idea that had been in formulation for a few years but finally came to be as fall approaches with cool nights, ghost stories and tales with the family becomes more common place the next few months . This is based off of one of the many moral but scary stories told to me growing up about a witch lady who was half owl bird half woman and would at night seek out children who were misbehaving or not alseep when they should be. She would sit on rooftops scratching for you to come out and see or menicingly laugh or whistle and if you called back she would swoop down and snatch you up!Just one story my Hispanic family would tell us among many others to scare us into being well behaved children. Does not work on my children though.. they want to meet her. Introducing "La Lechuza". There are stories told she sold her soul, now as half woman half owl she lives.  You will know she is near for in the night trees you will hear the diabolical laugh and whistle she gives." A dark, resinous and antiquated scent made as tribute to Spanish folklore and myth. In the middle of processing orders and other projects, an overwhelming inspiration came over me for a new scent. Creative flow has been set into motion for a scented ode to ...the river. A place we have found ourselves escaping to a lot here lately with the little family to cool off and unwind.🏞️ Like music that will play in my mind over and over until I sit at the piano and play out composing the melody of notes that I hear in my head...🎶so is this movement to start on this aromatic journey and begin blending notes and creating accords to make this new olfactory obsession come to life. After much debate with myself and much internal conflict I have decided on two perfume oil scents from the MGA line that will no longer be made.They are "The Music of Night" and "Rosemary Myst" and so these will be discontinued by the end of June. Both are still listed on the Etsy shop and website so if these were two that you fancied and made part of your signature scent stock up before they are gone. I am so sad to have to pull them from the line but reality was they just did not move as well the rest of my line and had not for a few years now.I just could not bare to part with them so I pushed off the inevitable but from the business standpoint it must be done. I adore very much both unique scents so I have made it a point to replace these with two scents and reformulate the recipe which is already in the works..so that's good news:) I look forward to sharing the progress of the replacements as one will be for the summer and the other a welcomed scent for fall. #midnightgysyalchemy#botanicalperfume #naturalperfumes#discontinuedperfumeoils##themusicofnight#rosemarymyst

Introducing "Madreselva" , the new summer scent now available on the MGA website and Etsy shop. "Her words like honeysuckles perfume the night air, with moonlit conversations and sweet blooms in her hair." Madreselva, the Spanish for honeysuckle is a celebration of scent to capture the gentle and yet wild scent of sweet honeysuckles on the vine.This my own interpretation of a honeysuckle perfume oil using handcrafted honeysuckle enfleurage from this year's blooms in my garden along with carefully select natural essential oils, absolutes and botanical material infusions to create a fragrance that is similar to the intoxicating sweetness and green delicate floral of the honeysuckle flower that I have come to adore over the years. Woke up to some distressing news from the postal service after I did an upgrade. Apparently I will not be able to offer free shipping on International Orders as I have been doing for so many years. Due to rate increase and a major change in policies for shipping light items in envelope form as I have been , the cost increase is outrageously higher and not something I can adjust or absorb moving forward. I am so very sorry to those customers who this will affect but I must comply to postal service rules... though I am not liking this change at all. All US Orders will continue with Free Shipping. Rates did increase for US as well but not much .So sadly all International Orders placed at MGA Etsy shop and the website will no longer be offered Free Shipping effective today.
