"since I'm a leafs jock sniffer [okay biz], you skated in the summer with [mitch] marner. how's he looking? what are we about to see this year?"

"yep. I think, yeah, I mean, I think, not more of the same, because more of the same is unreal, usually. you know, if he's played full 82 game season I think he would have over a hundred every year or so. but he looks awesome. it's always just, I think it's because, like, you hear stuff, it's always negative. not always negative about marns, but a lot of the time it's negative, and then you get on the ice with him, you're like, how could anyone ever be negative about this, you know? that's why I think, for me I just admire how good he is, just because people chirp him a lot, so. yeah, up in vail, he was, he was sick. yeah, him and mcdavid were flying around together, it was so fun to watch."
