Reminder that political figures, abusers, bigots and general bad people aren't "delusional", "brain-dead", "narcissistic" or "psychotic" for the horrible things they do.
They're assholes. Or arrogant. Or power hungry. Or abusive. Or bigoted. Or heavily biased. Or criminals. Or violent. Or aggressive. Or out of touch. Or genocidal. Or any other descriptive word for what they're doing that doesn't make an already stigmatised symptom any more demonised.

Speaking as a survivor of child sex abuse: the world would be a lot better if yall spent less time talking about the ways in which pedophiles should be punished and more time supporting survivors and preventing abuse
I get it, punishment can feel cathartic. I’ve certainly spent time imagining all the ways in which my own abuser might be punished. But ultimately, him dying, or being jailed, or publicly shamed, isn’t actually going to help me nor will it stop more kids from getting hurt in the future.
I don’t want more prisoners. I want free therapy with trauma informed counselors. I want better sex education for young children that teaches them about consent and body autonomy. And I want a society in which I can openly discuss my trauma, or at least as openly as yall discuss the evils of pedophiles

I have a question related to Schizophrenia and I was hoping people could help me due to me struggling to find information related to this.
Is it normal to have memory gaps? Where you do not recall meeting people. Talking to people. Important conversations or life events?
Or would that be something completely different than a symptom ?
Yes, many different forms of memory issues are common in schizophrenia. Here is a meta-analysis of studies on this topic if you'd like to learn more:

btw if you’re fat and your partner doesn’t love you wholeheartedly, if they’re attracted to you “despite” your body, if they avoid touching you, if they look away from certain parts of you, you’re allowed to break up with that person. look at me. you can do better. you are not unloveable and you don’t have to settle i fucking promise.

My English teachers used these characters and their dynamic to keep themselves happy when I was in high school, they had them as posters on their doors like memes
Ship dynamics are always like Sunshine and Sunshine protector~ Cinnamon roll and their grumpy one 🤗 Well what about 2 cunts. They're both cunts and that's the dynamic. cunt4cunt.

upsides of listening to music:
music yay yay yay!!!!!! yaaaaay!!!! yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
downsides of listening to music
if you listen to the right song for the first time while in a certain headspace you will be changed forever as your soul shutters and warps and contorts into new forms never before seen
get an idea for an animatic you will never finish

Idk what neurodivergent nonschizophrenic person needs to hear this but we are not all that different. Our brains are wired in a way that makes us have unique experiences from others. No need to draw a line in the sand of the "quirky" ones and the "scary" ones. We all struggle to adapt to a world not built to accommodate us. We all feel alienated and alone at times. We all may need some extra help from those around us. If you don't see schizophrenic people as being on your side of this, then you need to unlearn some biases and realize we have a lot more in common than we have different.

So like, I know this isn’t gonna help people inherently but what helps me is to think that happiness IS attainable, I just have to fight for it.
I won’t always have to, but many times I will. And that’s okay! In the meantime, while I wait for good things to come, I make time easier to pass by.
In order to do this, I break it down. 🕺 no jk. But I do break down time into bits. Taking it a day at a time is well known, but so is taking it an hour at a time or even minutes at a time. This makes it easier, and the time WILL pass.
Then, if I’m having a bad time, I like to restart. You can restart your day as many times as you need to.
What matters is you get through it. You don’t even have to pretend xyz didn’t affect you. You can just acknowledge that it happened and choose to move forward (which takes time and practice to actually be able to do, but you can do it!)

if you meet a schizophrenic or other psychotic person do not ask if they are hallucinating right now
that is literally none of your business! thats very personal medical information that you have no right to!
if you ask and they say yes you will probably ask where it is and if they tell you, you will turn towards that direction and check for yourself, do not do this, this will blend the real world with the hallucinations making it even harder for the psychotic person to tell the difference and that is dangerous
unless the psychotic person specifically asks you to look and tell them if its real, do not fucking look in the direction of the hallucination
nonpsychotic people can be a very helpful person to psychotic people, but they can also be devistatingly harmful
nonpsychotic people: you are not entiteled to any information about psychotic peoples experiences, you can make things worse for them, if you want to be an ally keep your fucking curiosity to yourself unless the psychotic person allows you to ask questions

my autistic comrades may relate to this; despite the challenges that psychoticism has presented to me, I value my perspective, and being 'cured' would rob me of a meaningful component of my selfhood.
