When you know T.F.'s lore, you understand why he's so ridiculously jealous when it comes to Graves.

I mean, that guy spent most of his life alone, 10 years blaming himself for leaving Malcolm behind, and when he got his partner back, suddenly he has new friends?!

No matter how much Graves reassures T.F. he TRUSTS him, T.F. must live with constant waves of insecurity, thinking that Graves might leave him. All those ex-boyfriends, Sentinels who keep him away, plus two girls Graves speaks highly of? Give the guy a break!!

They're not codependent, both have their own reputations and can handle dangers on their own.

But TF's HAPPINESS depends on Graves. Is that healthy? Definitely not, but who said it had to be?

I was talking to a mutual yesterday and they inspired me for some cowboy spamtenna <3 Speedpaint under the cut!

No music this time I was too lazy to find something SORRY

This took me around 4 hours in total I think (the footage is at x20 speed since I wanted to keep it as short as possible). Here you can see how much of a mess my art process is (I hate doing detailed sketches for painted rendering and it results in me fixing proportions and stuff mid drawing) (also I realised I forgot to start recording when figuring out their poses oops hope that's fine!)

i think it's interesting if kris didn't feel that strongly attached to tenna (or ramb or the flying aces or any of the other ch3 characters that talk about how much time they spent together) pre-dark world. like, they stopped watching tv before toriel did, they stopped having people around to play their weird games of pretend with, they stopped really diving into imagination At All as they got older and the depression really settled in over their shoulders. like, imagine the guilt and pain of realizing that everything around you loves you when you never thought of them that much at all. imagine turning on the tv to get a fun escapist dark world that won't care about you and your problems and then it turns out your tv wants more than anything else to make you happy.

kris is loved and they can't escape that and they know they are unworthy of any of it.
