LAST DAY  (31st Day)
This is our last day of On-the-Job Training and we still need to finish and perform the tasks assigned to us. Nevertheless, I had fun doing the things assigned to us for the past few weeks of our training at MIS and so far  we'd accomplished a lot in our given task.
Many employees asked for our assistance in installing new drivers and troubleshooting the Internet Connection because the network automatically obtains a different IP address. We were tasked to troubleshoot the Internet Connection and Printer Connection at  Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD).
After the assistance in troubleshooting, we were instructed by Sir James Andrew D. Atos and Sir Francois Ignacio T. Monilla to assess  6 defective CPU's and 2 Printer given by the Property and Supply Unit but unfortunately, we didn’t fixed any of the CPU because it all had a defective motherboard. In the afternoon, we also participated in the earthquake drill at the DSWD.
I was happy because I’ve finally finished my training but somehow sad because I will be leaving the office where I had lots of memories and I will be missing the people that became close to me for a period of time.
Despite the sorrow of leaving them, I am still happy that once in my life, I have met people like them in my life who taught me things related to my chosen course, and most importantly, they helped me to be the best that I can be. They are the ones who helped me in molding myself to be the individual I am right now. They challenged my skills, abilities and knowledge and gave me a chance to prove myself to them.
It’s very heartwarming to know that there are people who believes in me. I’m very grateful because I made them proud of what I have accomplished during my training and they were very thankful for everything that I have helped them with.

Little despedida party
Today, we just had a regular day, we were only assigned to replace a software (MS Office) and troubleshoot (2) of Internet connection at Accounting Unit and Community Based Services Unit (pantawid). We did three troubleshooting of internet connection on Wednesday. Two at Accounting Unit and one at Community Based Services Unit (Pantawid) then replacement of Microsoft office version.
Tumblr media
In the afternoon, Sir Don and Sir Iggy gave us a little despedida party. He told us that he was grateful for having us in the Office while Sir Iggy made funny jokes. I felt sad that our time at the MIS Office was almost over but grateful for all of the people I’ve meet and the knowledge I’ve gained.

Countdown (28th Day)
On Tuesday, Pat and I were assigned to troubleshoot the Internet Connection and Printer Connection at the Cash Grants Units. From CGU, an employee from Pantawid requested for a new set of desktop because her old desktop wasn't functioning anymore. Sir James Andrew D. Atos  gave me and Max the responsibility to assess six defective CPU's from the Property and Supply Unit.
We disassembled the system unit and found out that one of the problem of the units was the Random-Access Memory (RAM) and the remaining CPU's was the motherboard. We took one of the RAM's of the functioning unit then cleaned it using with an ordinary eraser and swapped it with the unit that had a defective RAM. The assessment was successful, we were able to fixed the CPU and there was a display in the monitor. When we confirmed that the CPU was working, we format the computer then installed drivers and we made an Administrator Account.

On this day, there was also a problem in the Internet Connection on several computers, laptops and printers. The hardwares kept on receiving different IP Addressees. The System Administrator, Sir Carmelo H. Griarte was in the travel so he can’t fix the problem. So we went to different sections and units of the DSWD to fix the connections.

Today, we were oriented by Sir James Andrew D. Atos about the new memo that came from the Main Office of the DSWD. We were assigned to install the new anti-virus called Sentinel to all of the computers and laptops used by the employees. Before starting the installation, we were required to check every MS Office to make sure that it was activated because according to Sir Atos, the new anti-virus detects any crack files.

Network Configuration (16th Day)
On this day, I spent my time in troubleshooting the Printers (Pantum) at General Administrative Support Services Division (GASSD) and Cash Unit. I compared the Printer’s Previous IP Address with the IP Address on the Wireless Network Test report and I found out that it doesn't match. In order to fix the connection, I just changed the IP Address of the printer.

Both Academically and Socially (14th Day)
Tumblr media
At the Policy and Plan Division (PPD), Max and I were instructed to install one of the printer (Pantum) drivers and softwares (MS Office and SocPen) to be used in the encoding of the SocPen applicants. We were able to the job quickly because we were already familiarized with some of the problems encountered on printers.
A new encoder of the Listahanan 3 wanted to borrow one of the HASEE Laptop in the MIS Office but unfortunately, the office was out of stock so we went to the Property and Supply Unit to request for a desktop for assessment to be used by the encoder. After the assessment, we went to the Regional Director Administrator’s Office (ARDA) to troubleshoot the internet connection.
This third week was a very tiring week but despite of it, I really learned a lot not just academically but socially as well because I learned to adjust myself to the people we encounter everyday and I aslo learned to socialize with them in a good manner. Though some of the people weren't kind, I still manage to handle the situation with them properly.
