Video: Jackie Chain Ft. Bun B & Big K.R.I.T. "Parked Outside"

Here's a new one from Alabama recording artists Jackie Chain. One thing I'll say about southern artists is that we'll always make money, with or without a label because we support one another, & respect each other as musicians/artists. That's where most coasts fail at, & where we've succeeded. I had to post this record, as it sounds like Pimp C blessed this. It's embodies everything that is what Texans, & southerners in general call "Country Rap Tunes" - Listen to the flow Bun uses, so circa from "Ridin' Dirty" & Jackie uses that same flow Chad used in "I's A Playa" ft. Z-Ro & Twista. Krizzle samples himself, giving the sound Pimp would use ASR-X. Enjoy -MM

Video: Rumer "Aretha"

Another amazing voice/talent, I present to you Rumer with her soulful voice. Something that's missing in the music industry. Trust you'll not be disappointed by this soothing, silky, yet powerful voice. The song title "Aretha" is from her album "Seasons Of My Soul" =================================================================== Heavily influenced by Burt Bacharach and blessed with effortless velvet-smooth vocals, Anglo-Pakistani singer/songwriter Rumer harks back to the early-‘70s easy listening sounds of Karen Carpenter and Carole King. Born in 1979 to British parents living in Islamabad, Rumer, real name Sarah Joyce, is the youngest of seven children, and spent her early years living in an expat community. Encouraged to make their own entertainment, she began writing songs with her brothers and sisters, and after moving to the U.K., developed a huge passion for musicals and in particular, Judy Garland. After a stint at art college, she formed the short-lived folk-indie band La Honda in 2000, but after the band split, was forced to take on several odd jobs including fixing iPods, teaching, and selling advertising space. Having moved to London to pursue her dreams of a solo career, she adopted a stage name inspired by the author Rumer Godden, and began performing in various clubs. At an open-mike night, she caught the eye of TV music composer Steve Brown, the house bandleader in Alan Partridge's Knowing Me, Knowing You, and the pair began work on her debut album. In 2010, she signed to Atlantic Records, supported Joshua Radin on his U.K. tour, and was personally invited by Burt Bacharach to sing for him at his California home. Her first single, "Slow," became one of the most requested tracks on Radio 2, and reached number 16 in the U.K. charts. The full-length album titled Seasons of My Soul gained released in November of that same year. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi

Video: Katy Perry - “Fireworks” (Lance Drummonds cover)
Whenever I heard this song on the radio, I never paid attention to the lyrics except for the infectious, “fireworks”/”oh oh oh.” But after finding that I sang along over and over, I reviewed the lyrics and found them highly moving. So I took to the piano and worked with my keyboardist to create an arrangement that accentuates the inspirational lyrics to this popular chart topping single. And what could provide more inspiration than the lights of New York City. I hope you enjoy.

New Music: @Allen_Stone "The Wind"
Let me introduce you to the future of soul/R&B Music. Meet Allen Stone

Delivering his self-titled, Sophomore album tomorrow (10/04/2011) this 24 Yr. Chewelah, WA native displays nothing less than amazing songs, tracks, & melodies. Some will try to call it blue eyed soul, but it's just music. Specificlaly Soul, R&B, with gospel undertones, & there's nothing wrong with that. he kidn of reminds me of Stevie wonder blended with Maxweell & Eric Benet. As I've consistently & vocally expressed to the many people that I've put on to Allen is that I've yet to hear another male R&B artist (white, black, latin, etc) of this generation sing with so much conviction & passion. You can purchase his album "Allen Stone" tomorrow on Amazon, iTunes & other digital stores. The song I'm highlighting on his new album is "The Wind." This is the record that I feel will most definitely make true music fans appreciate Allen Stone. From the funky bass line, to the organ, the horns slow attack/build, & the perfect vibrato of Allen's voice. You get my point. You can "Like" & view his page at http://www.allenstone.net & listen to the album in its entirety. This music is a gift, so I give it to you, please enjoy & share with others -Mogul

New Music: Bei Maejor - maejorMaejor

As always the homie @beimaejor delivers a cohesive body of work with his project titled "maejorMaejor." The album starts off with "They Call Me" featuring fellow Detroit native, Mike Posner. This is an amazing way in my opinion as an opening track. The beat grabs your attention, & the lyrics & delivery of both artists are on point. Bei also features one of Trey Songz go to songwriters/artist E. Miles. I can confidently say that this project takes you on a beautiful journey from start to finish with tales of a young lady growing up & blossoming into her own on "Big Girl Big City", to "Till We Get It Right" where he borrows a sample from R. Kelly's TP3.com title "Love Is What We're Making." Take the time to listen to this project when you get a chance, I'm sure you won't be disappointed at all. I've included some video's off of the project along with a link to download/stream it. Enjoy -Mogul Link to stream #maejorMaejor --> http://omg.ly/glgA Download: http://omg.ly/UrLv "It's On You"

New Music: @snowthaproduct "Unorthodox 0.5"

If you've been following me on twitter/facebook then you know that I've been hyped about this young lady who goes by the name of Snow Tha Product! She's one of the few Unsigned artists that have gotten me excited about music. If you think Snow's just a pretty face, then you're in for a rude awakening (WakeYaGameUp.com) She's a young Mexican female originally from San Jose, CA but now resides in Dallas, TX. Snow delivers on every track that she's on, whether it's the rapid fire flow, singing, cooking on a track (No Lil B), or rocking on a club track for the ladies. She's a bilingual rapper too, & she' represents to the fullest for her culture. This is not some music you can box in or label, this is just a female artist who loves to make music & express herself. So I bring to you her latest project "Unorthodox 0.5" & It's just that, Unorthodox. These are well put together songs with her just getting things off her chest, but in a concise, cohesive way. The project is hosted by Houston, TX's own dj @rapidric & 50 Cent affiliate/DJ @DjWhooKid. That's big names for an unsigned artist! I'm sure everyone will make their comparisons of who she sounds like, or who she should do a track with & that's cool but listen to it first. I know you'll enjoy this project as much as I do. Tell a friend, hell, tell everyone you know about this because I know I have & I endorse this project. Much love to @streetsciencepr & @gfilms. Enjoy -Mogul For information on Snow Tha Product go to http://www.snowthaproduct.com http://www.wakeyagameup.com http://www.facebook.com/snowthaproduct http://www.twitter.com/snowthaproduct
