“Came down from heaven”
This quote I’ve chosen is from the song ” You” by the planetshakers. I chose this quote because when I read this part of the lyrics it really hit me how Jesus, the son of God chose to die and suffer from the people when He can choose to be there in heaven being happy and sitting on the right hand of God. But Jesus knows that he needs to come down and be hanged on the cross so that our sins will be forgiven forever and he knows that he needs to be striped for us not to be sick anymore and just live a happy life but most of us people don’t realize how God loves us and blames God for all of their sufferings but what they don’t know all of those sufferings came from the devil and not from God and if only they just asked help from God all of their sufferings will be gone because all of those sufferings are taken by Jesus when he died on the cross and the sufferings that we are experiencing right now is lies that the devil wants us to believe in. This only shows how our older brother and father love us. Jesus paid for the sins he didn’t committed and even worse he died as a sinner’s death without committing sin at all and God sending his only son to the die for us sinners.

About the Author:
Sebastian Junger (born January 17, 1962) is an American journalist, author and filmmaker famous for the best-selling book The Perfect Storm: A True Story of Men Against the Sea (1997), his award-winning chronicle of the war in Afghanistan in the documentary films Restrepo (2010) and Korengal (2014), and his book War (2010).
About the Book:
The Perfect Storm is a creative nonfiction book written by Sebastian Jungerand published by W. W. Norton & Company in 1997. The paperback edition (ISBN 0-06-097747-7) followed in 1999 from HarperCollins’ Perennial imprint. The book is about the 1991 Perfect Storm that hit North America between October 28 and November 4, 1991, and features the crew of the fishing boat Andrea Gail, from Gloucester, Massachusetts, who were lost at sea during severe conditions while longline fishing for swordfish 575 miles (925 km) out. Also in the book is the story about the rescue of the three-person crew of the sailboat Satori in the Atlantic Ocean during the storm by the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Tamaroa (WMEC-166).
Summary:
In September 1991, Alfred Pierre, David “Sully” Sullivan, Michael “Bugsy” Moran, Dale “Murph” Murphy, Bobby Shatford and their captain Billy Tyne boarded the Andrea Gail, a boat used for swordfishing. Their plan was to head to the Grand Banks off the shore of New England.
During the first three weeks, Billy Tyne and his crew had a little catch eventhough they are working all day and all night. So Billy asked help from their sister ship which is Hannah Bolen, after a few days of fishing, The Andrea Gail had the catch they want. So they were ready to go back to their homeport.
The Grand Banks is great for fishing but it is also dangerous because storms always passes here. On October 27, the weather forcasters issued a warning that 3 storms are combining to buid the so called Perfect Storm, a storm that only happens perhaps every one hundred years.
The captain of the Hannah Bolen, Linda Greenlaw, warned Billy Tyne but because the ice machine of the Andrea Gail was broken and if they don’t go home that time the fish they caught will rot and all of their work will go to nothing and the whole trip will be a waste of time, Captain Billy decided to ignore Captain Linda, and decided to continue heading back to their homeport.
After three weeks, the storm is already gone, Captain Linda found barrels marked “AG,” and an ERIB from the Andrea Gail washes up on Sable Island. The ship probably sank after it was hit by a monster wave. Eventhough there are coast guard rescuers who tried to find the Andrea Gail and its crews, the Andrea Gail and its crews is nowhere to be found.
Lessons Learned:
The lessons that I have learned in this book is that no matter what always choose safety over everything because what will you do with wealth if you are not healthy or you are already dead.
Critique or Reaction:
The plot of the story is very simple yet it is very interesting and it is also very informative because this book lets us know what danger and hardships fishermen go through to catch the fish we are eating and enjoying.
