We went to the Short Sands Beach on Sunday and the fog was so thick we couldn't see the cliffside to the left or any of the surfers in the water. We stayed in the morass for about an hour digging sand castles, exploring, etc and then gave up, packed up, and hiked back out of there. As we got back to the top of the cove, the fog miraculously lifted. At least I got this cool shot of what could've been...
