A writing discord server: Barrel and Staghorn

Hi there!! Barrel and Staghorn is my server that I created for people who love to make ocs and share and talk about them. We have several channels dedicated to just talking about ocs, so even if you maybe only write once in a blue moon, there is still absolutely a place for you here to share the little guys in your head that you love. We're also happy for anyone who writes fanfic to come and share their work, since we know ocs and fandom overlap a lot and there isn't always a space that accommodates both.

While we are mainly focused on writing, Barrel and Staghorn also loves any and all artists who join and we encourage you to join and share your art!! We even have a channel for you to link social media so that people can follow your art if they want to see more of it :3

Barrel and Staghorn is anti-censorship and allows ocs and fanfiction of any kind to be shared without judgement, and as such we have a verification system in place to protect against trolls and bad faith actors. When you join you'll have access to one channel where you can open a ticket to verify. It shouldn't take too long, though be patient with us mods as we get busy too! <22

Last but not least, Barrel and Staghorn has an optional section of channels for adults who would want to share their writing or art in a moderated, of age space.
