2 years after the event I think I’m ready to unpack all of it.

The fandom went insane during the Tavastia concerts and content drizzled in throughout the night here on tumblr, from fans and also from the 2 loverboys themselves (please the stories they filmed?? Insane, they did not give one flying fuck)

But for me it was when, not sleeping, bleary and red rimmed eyed reblogging every single thing, the bar story was posted.

Remember I was practically delirious by then from seeing Bojan on his knees (making those faces), Jere riding him, sweaty, blissful hugs, Bojan’s exposed arms in Jere’s merch!!!??, Jere being so happy he nearly burst at the seams, Bojan unbothered and enjoying everything that was happening, flirting on stage, and all that jazz… and THEN I could SWEAR I saw them kissing in that bar story??

Looking at it now I must most definitely been insane and high on Bojere hormones but… yeah. That.

Also I was apparently on käärijän as a ship name?

yes happy anniversary to all the insane bojere girlies (gn) who are still around 2 years later! i’m not sure i ever told this story so im happy to share, although it’s not super crazy lol!

basically my friends and i made the last minute decision to attend their dublin show, and when we had our flight back home the day after the concert, bojan was also at the airport alll alone. (my other friend ran into the other joker out guys at the airport when she had her earlier flight). i was just headed to my gate and passed the one where he was waiting for his flight. i interviewed him (and the band) the day before so there was this brief moment of recognition but i didn’t talk to him or anything, i was already super tired i couldn’t even imagine how he felt 🥲

it’s funny you mention him being nervous because i never considered it before, but i would say yes! the only reason i ran into him was because he was pacing around in front of the gate instead of just sitting down, and he seemed pretty distracted! could be tiredness, could be nerves, could be both, we’ll never know for sure 👀 no finnish flags around, unfortunately! it was just a brief interaction of course, but i’d say he looked nervous thinking back now!

now i remember rumours floating around that he was gonna join the tavastia show so it was easy to put two and two together at that point! i told (/yelled about it to) a few friends but never posted it anywhere online because i didn’t wanna ruin the surprise! honestly, it was kinda fun being one of the few fans who Knew 👀 unfortunately as we know now, some fans tracked the flight and went to the airport just in case, and they did see him there and posted about it :( i was kinda sad and angry about it, because it did ruin the surprise of him attending the show and of course, just please don’t go and stalk him or anyone!! it’s creepy!!!

but in any case, the aftermath changed me as a person lmao 🩷 when The Video dropped (u know the one) i was losing my mind. i was already invested in them before, during the whole esc journey, but it only got worse and we’re still here 2 years later!! and so are they!!!!! that’s the best part of it all ❤️💚
