All I just wrote leads to this, year 2017. Engine is almost assembled and I have motivation to get car running for this summer! Still needs painting and everything else but I’m getting there! I added parts list to description :)

Summer 2013;

After two great days and 180km..I was going home from work and suddenly engine stalled and rear wheels locked..Surprise surprise, idler pulley’s bolt had snapped inside block causing too much damage to handle for me at that moment.. 2 valves were snapped in half and the rest 22 were kind of twisted. 1. piston had some marks too.

I had project on ice for a while and had awesome Volvo 240 turbo winterbeater project. 

After Volvo was sold, I started to work on Skyline again (Spring 2014). Bought new piston for 1. cylinder and ACL Race bearings for rods. Why? Budget, you know?

I also bought gt-r bumper and spoiler, new gearbox etc. Meanwhile I had an idea about new painting and color theme. So the preparation started. Got new XXR 521 wheels in gold too.

After fitting the wheels, I knew new color theme. Subaru’s Satin Pearl White and BBS’s Gold!😍

So I stripped engine bay down and added some new color! After this I had project on ice for a longer time due financial stuff and lack of interest because I had to move to another garage again.

In winter between 2012-2013, I drove to garage just to see not-so-great surprise. Some idiots had broke in garage and stole a lot of things like steering wheel, coils, ecu, apex’i, gauges, maf, welding machine etc.

Well, I luckily got money from insurance so had a chance to buy those parts back + some more.

I bought new ecu with nistune again, lightning maf from Ford, Hardrace arms, Turbosmart raceport, Walbro 416lph E85 fuel pump, new coils, PLX wideband etc.

Last fall I’ve had a feeling that headgasket was leaking so I tore everything apart again. 

After assembling head, I bought new plenum and E-VAC Scavenger kit what was terrible.. And again, lots of problems after assembly. Two injectors were jammed and E-vac kit blew all boost to rocker covers..

Finally, Skyline felt good and ran great!

After 5,000km in June and four pairs of burned tires I started shopping again. This time 60mm wastegate, new intercooler, new radiator, fans, hicas lockbar,  Cometic metal headgasket, ARP headbolts, kevlar timing belt, couple of gauges etc.

After everything was assembled, Skyline had weird problem. Black smoke, rich AFR, sounded like Boxer and didn’t start properly. Problem was found in broken ecu. Weird huh?

Well, car ran great. Even though, I didn’t like engine bay’s colors at all. Too bright and multicolor.

But again, winter was just around the corner...

These pics are from spring 2011 when it was still pretty stock. 

In summer 2011, while waiting for my drivers license, I did couple of minor improvements such as modding those ugly intercooler pipes. I bought ic from GT-R and made new pipes. I also bought Nismo’s thermostat which is little bit cooler than original.
