My on and off practice for Emma finally paid off! Here's Emma in her brand new design for the upcoming Legends Z-A game! Super hyped to see her be a main character.

I think she cut her hair for a mixture of easier management and helmet use (if she even uses her Essentia helmet still) but... I also love the idea that she had met Anabel before PLZA and got inspired. :') Judging by demo footage, I think Emma may have cut her hair herself!

I’ve always had a pretty unconventional voice so naturally I’ve gotten a slew of comments on it. I sound very boyish. Some people have told me I sound like a fifteen year old boy, but actually the most frequent comment I get is that I sound like the Snapcube fandub interpretation of Silver from Sonic ‘06, which okay… no.

Sure, if I raise my pitch and put on a whiny voice I can do a great impression of him, but my regular speaking voice is way too deep to be a perfect match. Alas, even after playing some clips of said fandub for some of my not terminally online friends, they’d immediately agree I sound exactly like him. I also played a clip for my mom when she wasn’t looking and she straight up thought it was me speaking. So really this must be a case of me refusing to accept reality.

And yet I still lived my life denying any and all Silver comments. However, today, tragedy has struck.

One of my good online friends recently played Nier Automata, and during a voice call told me that I sounded like one of the characters in the game, Emil. I just laughed it off as I usually do in those scenarios.

Well, now I’ve gotten around to playing Nier Automata and eventually encountered Emil himself. During a side quest of his, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that his voice sounded familiar. And then it hit me.

Unfortunately, sadly, and tragically, we do sound alike and my friend was indeed right. I am never escaping the allegations of sounding like a whiny little boy. It’s over for me 😔

I had the most random burst of motivation today and decided now was the time I was gonna draw my character from Splatoon 3. I don’t really ever draw so this is even weirder for me than usual, but I think it turned out pretty nicely for a thing I never do.

Maybe I need to do more of this it was super enjoyable even if I hate how the hands and shoes turned out and also the first face sucks lol
