The fact that MML chose a clearly different route with Milanda is still so incredible!

I don't know about that.

Milo and Amanda, as individuals, have more in common with Phineas and Isabella than you think.

We see that with Milo and Phineas, the two have quite abit in common. They have positive personalities, they're very helpful to others, etc.

Amanda and Isabella also have some things in common. They both have the pinkish and white clothing color scheme with a hair accessory (bow and hair band), both are of Hispanic dissent, and both often find themselves in leadership roles when they're a major focus of an episode.

While the only thing Milo and Melissa would have in common is... that they're close friends.

But this doesn't have Milanda "Phinbella 2.0" They’re more of their own characters to be quite different.
