What's funny about the Morston hate is that back when the game came out... it was The Ship? The majority of the first works written for the game on ao3 are Morston. It's very recently, in the tiktok era, that the soft, unproblematic Charthur became the only appropriate Arthur ship and Morston shippers became "freaks" that need to be beaten into the dirt for their transgressions.
