♡Glamour Witch Tips! ♡

Here’s a quick list of some of my glamour/beauty rituals and practices.

♡Charge your perfume under the full moon. You can also charge any other cosmetic items such as lip glosses, creams, face masks, etc. Use the power of the full moon to your advantage!

♡Add your moon water to your bath and stir clock wise voicing your desires, affirmations, and intentions, etc.

♡Drink red rose teas

♡wear colors associated with beauty such as reds, pinks. Or if your looking for something a little more powerful and divine, wear black.

♡Stand outside in the rain! Rain has fantastic healing properties and just letting your face get soaked in rain water is fantastic for glamour.

♡Invest in a rose quartz face roller. Not only are face rollers just great for your skin in general, rose quartz has incredible healing properties and can help increase and restore beauty.

♡ Draw sigils and runes on your face with your moisturizer or primer. For runes I highly suggest using Berkana, Wunjo, and Soulo. I might make a post later about the sigils I’ve created for glamour magic.

♡ Store sea shells on your vanity and or in your bathroom. You can also add seashells in your bath, just be careful not to crush them. Sea shells are what is considered mathematical perfection and has had a long association with beauty, fertility, and love. Sea shells are especially useful if you are a devotee of Aphrodite.

♡Take a weekly oat bath. Not only are oats fantastic for your skin as a cosmetic, but it is believed to help restore emotional balance and have meditative like qualities.

♡Dedicate your Sundays as much as possible to self care! Sundays themselves are a good day to focus on as they are associated with healing and beauty in a lot of religions. I find taking this day just to focus on yourself a little more goes a long way and can help you get motivated to before the school/work week starts.

💐 Here are some basic tools for the beginner sea witch plus other beach findings! Requested by @lavender-vvitch💕 From my personal grimoire💐

Blue Altar Cloth: Represents the ocean and water energies.

Bucket: Used to gather sand, shells and water. It also can be used to place a cauldron (metal ones!)

Cauldron: Represents the womb, used for burning loose incense/bay leaf wishes, scrying, making oils infusions and potions

Chalice / Cup: Used for offering drinks to your god/goddess or spirits

Coral: protection, devotion, calm energies, healing, peace, wisdom, repels negativity

Driftwood: Can be used to make a wand, spiritual guidance, strengthen spells, bringing positive energy

Hag Stones: Used to see the fae/mer-folk, protect against negativity, prevent nightmares

Seashell Spoon: Can be used as a wand and an offering

🌺💕 Aphrodite Invocation Spell 🌺💕

💖 This spell was used when I felt a strong connection to Aphrodite and don’t know how to reach her. The spell is based on my personal experience! 💖 

📝 Note: Use this spell when you have a very strong connection to Aphrodite. The spell will be 100% successful if your connection is strong with her. I had a very strong connection with Aphrodite for 5 months before doing this spell and my results came in a few hours after casting this spell. 📝

🌛 When to cast: 🌜

• Preferably any day/time/phase during april (april is a scarced month for Aphrodite) or any day/time/phase you want

💐 Things you will need: 💐

• candles ( preferably red, pink, blue, seafoam or white )

• rose incense or any herbs corresponds with love

• food offerings: apple slices, any chocolate snacks, apple juice, milk, strawberries, fruit flavored yoghurt, candies. etc whichever from this list

• item offerings: roses, lavender, pearls, seashells, rose quartz or any love crystals, your favourite jewellery

• your favourite divination tools

• circle casting tools

🕯️ The spell: 🕯️

🌸 First, cleanse the altar/area and tools your are working on. then cast your circle and light the candles and incense.

🌸 In your on words, invoke Aphrodite and welcome her to the circle

🌸 Tell her about yourself, likes/dislikes, favourite foods, hobbies, books.etc

🌸 You can ask her any questions with tarot cards, pendulums or any divination tools

🌸 When you are done talking give her the offerings raise them towards the sky and say: “ Goddess Aphrodite, i offer all to you, so mote it be.” And let yourself feel her energy around you.

🌸 You can close the circle and let the incense burn til the end and thank her. You can do some devotional acts to her such as: take a rose bath/shower, eat some sweets, research on her, meditate with a rose quartz.

🌸 Signs you will see her are: her entering your dreams, pictures of her in random places (on newspapers, signboard, statues etc.), doves flying, roses everywhere you walk, finding wild strawberries and bees, having the urge to visit the beach, craving for apples or sweets, feeling a random gentle press on your body, mysterious sweets smells, roses on the beach, finding a certain same shell multiple times during a visit to the beach, noticing that everyone you know will be slightly be kinder towards you, receiving chocolates from friends💕

🌺🌷💕 Aphrodite Offering Spray 🌺🌷💕

💌 Hey little rosebuds! Im back for a while so this is my first post for the summer i hope you have fun doing this easy spellwork for Aphrodite worshippers! From my personal grimoire. 💌

💐 Things you’ll need: 💐

• circle casting tools

• a small bowl & spoon

• a spray bottle

• purified water

• rose oil

• vanilla oil

• a small cinnamon stick

• rose petals

• lavender buds

• globe amaranth petals

• pink, red or white candle

• pink salt, sea salt or pink dyed salt

• a small rose quartz  or any love crystals

• strawberry, cinnamon, vanilla or rose incense

• very small seashells (optional)

 abalone: (self)love, healing, luck, wealth, peace, cleansing, home, hearth

 button shell: connections, gatherings, friendships

 clam: soulmates, love, friendships, communication, healing, emotions

🌛 When to cast: 🌜

• any moon phase or any time during a friday

🕯️ Creating the spray bottle: 🕯️

• First cleanse your space/tools then cast your circle and call upon Aphrodite to help aid you in your spellwork. Then light the candle and incense for offerings.

• When stating your intentions to the bowl add the water, oils, flowers and herbs in the bowl and stir clock-wise to bring the desired intentions to the concoction.

• When you’re done stating your intentions use the spoon to draw a love sigil on the water surface to seal your intention or you can ask Aphrodite to bless the elixir to seal it.

• Before adding the liquid into the bottle carefully place the crystal and or seashell into the bottle then finally add the elixir.

• Once you’re done spray some of the elixir and thank Aphrodite then close the circle. This spray has a 2 month shelf life so keep the spray in the fridge after using it.  

• Some other ways to use it such as: spraying onto yourself before praying to Aphrodite, using it as an eau de toilette, spraying onto your clothes, use as an incense alternative, spraying it after a room cleansing session or however you want!

• Please do not ingest this spray it is not meant to be consumed!

🐚🔮 Seashell Divination II 🐚🔮

🌸 Another random idea at work again! Here’s part 2 of my seashell divination series! I’ve been trying to develop this method for some time, this method works best if you only read between 1~5 shells when divining them. I only use the major arcana to assign the shells since 22 shells is quite enough rather than using all major and minor arcana cards and assigning them all which is waay too much! 🌸

🕯️ Things you’ll need: 🕯️

• Basket of mixed shells or select the shells on the list below!

• Cloth, hanky or dolly to cover the basket

• Herb bundle or sage/rosemary incense

• Seashell correspondence list

💐 Cover and pick method 💐

• Ask your question. Cleanse, cover and gently shake the basket close your eyes and pick your shells . Pick between 1 or 5 shells for better reading. You dont wanna pick more than 5 otherwise there’s too much frustration.

• If the shells you picked has an open mouth or the hole is up it’s a reversed meaning. Closed mouth or the hole is facing down you can just read the shell as it is!  

🎲 Tossing method 🎲

•  Ask yourself a question. Cleanse, shake and gently toss the shells on the mat. Let’s say I’m doing a 3 shell reading.(you can pick shells between 1~5)  

I’ll chose one shell that’s nearest to me and the second shell in the middle and third shell farthest away from me then divining your shells

• When picking your shells you don’t want to turn the mouth or hole facing downwards leave as it is! Since this is a reversed meaning.

🐚🔮 Seashell Divination 🐚🔮

I had this idea while I was bored at work. Since seashell divination is a difficult/uncommon skill in sea witchery here’s my methods of ways of divining! I may post a small series dedicated to this skill ♡

Note: before divining you’ll need to acquire the meaning behind the shells! Checkout my seashell correspondence post!

🐚🕯️ Things you’ll need:🐚 🕯️

💐 A small basket with mixed shells ( it can be any shells even chipped, broken and ugly ones! The more mixed the better! )

💐 A hanky or a cloth to cover the basket

💐 A herb bundle or rosemary/sage incense

🌛 One shell reading method 🌜

Its like daily one tarot card reading but with shells!

🌺 Cleanse the shells with the herb bundle to remove away any negative energies

🌺 Cover the basket with a hanky and gently shake the basket

🌺 With your eyes closed pick a shell and divine its meaning

🌊 My method of divining its meaning 🌊

🌹 When I divine its meaning i start off with the color of the shell. This represents your emotion of the day. Green shell? Might feel lucky today!

🌹 The pattern/texture. This represents your situation/behavior of the day. Is the shell chipped or bumpy? You might bump into things or may have a small accident. I take note of every chip, smoothness/bumpiness, color pattern or characteristic as they all add valuable info!

🌹 The meaning behind the shell. This represents the overall message of the shell or what I’ll find throughout the day! Depending on the shell. Ex) conch shell: an old friend may call/text you, or getting compliments throughout the day or your S.O. doing something nice for you.

🔮 The Yes or No method 🔮

🌷 Instead of using a three shell method like I see on tumblr here’s my way of finding the answer with mixed shells!

🌷 Ask yourself a question then cleanse, cover and gently shake the basket. Then pick the first shell that you touch then divine it meaning.

🕯️  Interpreting the shells: 🕯️

🌸 Yes: smooth even texture, perfect looking shell, even vibrant color, no chips or holes present

🌸 No: bumpy rough texture, holes or chips, uneven colors less rich color, barnacles, moss, mold or coral bits present

🌸 Maybe: a good looking shell with a little uneven color/textures, very little chips or small holes, a grainy color/textured shell, or a broken tip especially on auger, whelks and conch shells

🐚🍑🌸 Seashell Magick + Correspondence II🐚🍑🌸

🌷💗 Hello little rosebuds! For today’s post i want to show you folks on how i create correspondeces for seashells! At the near bottom of this post i selected some shells that i assign correspondence with my own personal thoughts and meaning. This is what i do when im bored, i find pictures of seashells that i like and i assign correspondences on them. 🌷💗

🕊 How i do it 🕊

Depending on shell I like to look up on the basic info on the shell and then I split into 7 categories: color, shape, name of the shell, feminine/masculine energies, element, animal behavior and uses in history/myths

Note: This applies to shells that haven’t had any magickal correspondences in them.

• Colors: depending on the most common color of the shell you can use existing color correspondence to assign the shells with it too! Some gastropods have nacre inside the shell this associates with beauty such as abalone and top shells.

• Shapes: there are a million kinds of shapes of shells, depending what’s it reminds you of. Most shells look similar and its totally okay to assign similar correspondence to them! Some shells can even resemble as human body parts and reproductive organs such as augers and cowries! You can use shells that are similar to any body parts to give it an extra boost!

• Shell name: most shells can be named after objects, figures or what they do. This is the first easy way to assign their correspondence to, since they’re practical depending on the name. Shells such as spindle shell and venus comb murex.

• Femmine/masculine energies: some shells can look nsfw-y depending on the shape or animal behavior. If the shell doesn’t look nsfw you can determine if the animal’s behavior. If the animal is aggressive you can assign it with masculine energy. If it’s calm and passive assign it with feminine energy.

• Element: depends on the feminine/masculine energies, how the shell is used, shell name, animal behavior or where the shell of the animal spends most of its time on.

• Animal behavior: most shells can be relaxed, they can bury themselves into sand, hiding/showing themselves off or come off as very aggressive. An interesting way to assign the shells with!

• History/myth: shells can be used throughout history such as jewellery making, using it as water vessels, divination, money, decorative objects and so on. Some Greek/Roman deities names can be featured on shells such as venus clams, junonia shells and triton’s conch, you can use deity symbols to align shells with. Plus you can also offer them shells that aligns with their names!

• Kitten’s paw shell: youth, innocence, playfulness, protection for cats, feminine energies + water element

• Nacre/Mother of pearl: intuition, beauty, imagination, creativity, new ideas, clarity, new beginnings, harmony, balance, cycles, protection, healing, cleansing, motherhood feminine energies + water element

• Nerites shell: male beauty, youth, slowness, peace, tranquility, masculine energies + water element, Named after a minor greek sea god Nerites

• Red mouth rock shell: wealth, royaltly, hardwork, high status, abundance, strength, aggression, masculine energies + air element

🐚🌷 Shell bowl manifestation spell 🐚🌷

🌸 A simple and basic manifestation spell for a sea witch. From my personal grimoire! 🌸

💐 Things you'll need 💐

• Circle casting tools

• Herb bundle or rosemary/sage incense to cleanse

• A medium sized shell- clam, scallop, bear’s paw or abalone

• A marker

🌛 When to cast🌜

• Any moon phase depends on your intentions

🕯️ The spell 🕯️

* Cleanse your work area and cast your circle. Then call out any deity or spirit to aid you in your spellwork.

* Light your candle(s) and cleanse the shell.

* Chant your intent as you write it down on the shell. You can write your intentions all over the inside of the shell if you want!

* When you’re done writing flip the shell (the written side with your intent) towards to your altar to cover your intent.

* With both hands on the shell manifest your intentions until it feels like it’s coming towards you.

* Close your circle and leave the shell facing downwards on your altar and leave it alone. Turn the shell facing upwards when your manifestations has comes true.

💕Aphrodite's Water 💕

This is a fruit-infused water recipe that I have affectionally coined Aphrodite water because of my personal associations with her and how I use this water. This is my UPG.

This is a simple recipe you probably already make, so why not add it to your magical and devotional routine; its ease of access, easiness to make, and versatility make it a powerful potion, great for spells, or an offering.

How it is Used:

As a potion: tailor the fruits to taste and desired magical & health properties. I drink this to connect with Aphrodite and increase my feelings of beauty, self-love, and increase my libido. I am also actively trying to be healthier and it's a good replacement for unhealthy beverages. I often combine drinking this with self-care and self-love rituals dedicated to Aphrodite. It creates an atmosphere.

As an offering: say a prayer to Aphrodite as you prepare it and offer it to her. I will typically keep this on my altar and pair it with rose quartz and sea shells.

Spells: when using for spells, I especially like to use rose petals as a garnish because I feel like it pleases Aphrodite (and me) but it's optional.

Best used in spells for abundance, fertility, self-love, romantic love, and attraction.

Use it to create a spell jar; in this case, I often add flower petals and herbs. I will often also add incense ashes or essential oils in scents associated with Aphrodite such as sandalwood. Depending on the spell, I may write something on a piece of paper and have it dissolve in the water.

Use it to extinguish spells involving fire: when burning bay leaves, or other ingredients for spells as mentioned above, I will extinguish the fire with this water.

Fruits To Use:

*many fruits/plants can be associated, but not all "infuse" the water well enough for it to taste good if you're drinking it.

Pomegranate: said to be first planted by Aphrodite herself.

What's needed:

Water

Ice (optional, but recommended if you're drinking it)

Lemon, lime, or oranges

Your choice of fresh or frozen fruit that is associated with love, lust, beauty, or sex

Reusable straw (optional, but recommended if you're drinking it)

Rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Mix a generous amount of freshly squeezed lemon, lime, or orange with water as a base. Add your fruit and ice, shake/stir, then done. For some fruit choices, you may have to allow it some time to infuse. I recommend using a straw as citrus can be hard on your teeth if you're drinking it.

⛤Rose Spell to Attract Love⛤

The rose is a flower attributed with many magical powers. 

It is believed that Josephine, the great love of the military leader Napoleon Bonaparte, who had a luxurious rose garden, contributed to the popularization of roses. 

The rose has always been considered a mystical flower, both because of its appearance and because of its enticing fragrance. 

For this reason, it is believed that rituals with roses are the most powerful for love and marriage. 

There are lots of rose petal spells to attract love and make love wishes come true. 

For this rose petal spell, the material used must be new and unused. 

For the success of the ritual, it should be performed at the time of the new moon.

Take a white sheet of paper and draw a heart on it, then cut it out. The heart should not be too small or too big in size.

Take another white paper and write on it:

"In this heart is the light of a candle. At night it will attract my loved one.”

In the space where you perform the ritual, there should be rose petals and the scent of roses to enhance the magical effect.

Then light a red or pink candle with the scent of a rose and repeat the same words you wrote on the paper again:

"In this heart is the light of a candle. At night it will attract my loved one.”

Put the paper heart through the flame of a red or pink candle, but so that it remains whole. During this process imagine love coming into your life and you accepting it.

Let the candle burn a little, then wrap the remaining wax in a paper heart and another paper on which you wrote the magic words. 

Then put everything together in a cabinet that only you use in the room and keep it.

Papers with candle wax should stand for 28 days. It is believed that the judge will appear unexpectedly at the end of the specified period.

This ritual, a rose petal spell, dates back centuries and is considered one of the most powerful for love.

➺ music journal - if you’re a music lover like me you have hundreds of favorite songs, and a lot of those songs don’t fit into the current playlists you have. this is a perfect way to keep track of old songs/songs you might forget, and also a cool way to share new music with people!!

➺ hobbies journal - keep track of your hobbies and interests and record the dates. over the years it will be interesting to see hobbies you’ve kept and those you’ve tried.
