After snagging the Kadoatie for my weekly prize, I realized that I should actually wait for something I really wanted. I pulled a Stealth and Woodland PB, but I don't want any pets of those colors currently. And it is so damn hard to participate in ZYDP when everything but the lab-exclusive colors can be easily obtained, which is great! It's so awesome that TNT has removed the barriers to fun. (What a novel concept.)

But today...

Oh baby. Now we're cooking.

I have yet to attach a P3, even though I have a few from the past couple years. But a Mootix? And the avatar that comes with it? Sign me up.

A cutie! I have done a terrible job with the FON this year. I'm checking through Kari's clues and I missed two! Damn. My memory is not so hot in my mid-millennial years.

While I'm sad I dropped the ball on the Festival of Neggs, I do have to remind myself that this is all for fun and trying to minmax fun on this website is a loser's game. So what if I missed a few days! I'm still enjoying what I'm playing. I have a recurring habit of wanting to do EVERYTHING while also not remotely having the bandwidth to do that, so I ultimately (always) end up disappointing myself. I've gotten better as I've gotten old to just enjoy what I have and what I'm doing; Neopets shouldn't be any different.

Oh, but the cute Tuffala... Competing with another "new" petpet!

Oh! Uh. I was spinning my wheels with another lab rat then just decided to stop because the color was pretty decent. So I grabbed a random pet out of the pound with not a great name and bam! On their first try! *insert Charlotte from Sex and the City gif*

I have too many UFA pets on my side account that I no longer have available slots XD Gosh, do I have to buy some?!

Nope, I lied!

I know they just refreshed the prize pool, but this is inflating again for some reason and I never got it the first time around.

Grabbed a Cybunny and decided he'd be a good representation that I know my magma time. XD He's also got a DBZ-themed name that I kinda love and couldn't believe wasn't taken.

I have been sucking at the Negg Fest and even missed yesterday! I got a sad fucking green checkmark next to my skip. In my defense, I've really been enjoying Stardew Valley 1.6 so shhhhhhh.

You know, it's not the most expensive thing, but it is a book and I want it and need it. Sold!

And the Festival of Neggs is officially live! I read that some users were having issues redeeming prizes yesterday, so I decided to hold off and start today.

Lol, I forgot to snap a picture of the clue. But I love when I can decipher it on my own! Low-hanging fruit is the most delicious fruit.

And it looks like the Grey Negg has a new stamp, so I'll undoubtedly be like everyone else who collects and selecting those.

I've been doing a better job going through the SDB and grabbing all the books out of there as well. The gallery continues to grow (though my cataloging has not!) and my pets are getting more and more intelligent. 😎

And I'd been spinning my wheels on this prize for several weeks. Glad I finally kept up my streak; now with new items in the prize pool, I can't wait to see what I get!
