Ruby Dixon Commissioned me again 🥹. Asha and Hemalo with little Shema. I thought it would be fun having hemalo showing her a carved horse. Plus, I absolutely love horses <3 Couldn't miss the chance to draw them.

I really love to draw these slice of life images. In my head, Tiffany gifted the horse toy (which she made) and little Shema is mesmerized by the strange animal that looks very similar to a Dvisti. Done with PS.

I did this for MODIPHIUS for their 2e Star Trek Corebook.

I had so much fun painting the asteroid field and the excelsior class ship.

Unfortunately, my credit was messed up and they credited it to another artist (it’s ok, bringing together a book is a real hard task).

My computer died on me, but I could recover these files (sadly, I lost a couple of comic sequences based on the book).

Maddie and Hassen are one of my fave couples (would be Josie and Haeden/ Rokan and Lilah and then Maddie and Hassen/N'deck and Devi).

Headcanon:

I've always pictured Hassen always wagging his tail when he's excited. Also, he wears bone piercings on his ears. If Haeden can shave half his head, Hassen can have piercings. oh yes.

I did this for MODIPHIUS (beginning of 2023). It was such a pleasure to work for the Federation-Klingon war book (the company has an anti-AI policy and their game catalog is top notch. Check it out. As a DM and a player, I totally recommend it).

I especially enjoyed working on the Klingon armor. I love painting detail.

I really enjoyed working on Star Trek. Such an iconic franchise.

Been working on this all x-mas! I was *dying* to tell you all.

It's been a joy to work on the fruit cave. I love complex sceneries and I always imagined the cave being lavish and extremely colorful (as opposed to the eternal white of the snowy landscape). I made a point on drawing tasty fruits. Like, they look weird, but I want to taste them. Most of these are based on real fruits (go figure).

When Ruby Dixon asked for this setting, I was like HELL YEAH!

I hope I did justice to her characters and her setting. Thank you for the trust, Ruby.

Lila and Rokan are one of my fave couples (Haeden, please do not kill me. I love you, but omg Rooookaaaaan), so it was A PURE JOY getting this commission.

I mentioned, in earlier posts, that I was up to illustrate for the franchise here in my country (Mexico). Nothing happened in the end -such is the life of an illustrator. Half the deals never come to pass-.

So it was truly awesome to have Ruby Dixon herself commission me directly *cries in Spanish*. I really enjoyed doing this cut out because Rokan is one of my fave IPB dudes (I'm always torn between Haeden and Rokan. I can almost see Haeden glaring at me over this statement)

Did this space ship design a while ago. I always struggle with vehicles (even though I love the aesthetics of a well designed machine).

I was going to store this molskine and I found this vessel and the escape pods (it is evidently base on a crab).

Little did I know that drawing spaceships will land me a gig for Star Trek.

I spent all October working on the #Tolkientober in twitter. You can see the full thread here (only photos).

I had a lot of fun. I spent two years struggling with half my head broken and unable to sit down to draw traditionally -which I love-. I had never, ever, finished a drawing challenge, so I am pretty proud of myself.

I drew Maedhros and Fingon (because OTP). The whole challenge was about them and their tragic fanon romance story. Anyway, enjoy these 3 pieces.

All of these were done in a Toned tan sketchbook (half letter size). I was drawing miniatures all along!

Here is extra content: closeups and sketches I sent to Ruby when I was exploring Nemeth. It was tricky to drawn him sitting because his legs bended in a weird way.

I enjoyed this commission so much.

I've been drawing my OCs inbetween comissions.

Yes, I have orc OCs. I thought the crowd here would appreciate my baby. For some reason, I find the claws, sexy (paired with a kilt: 10/10).

I created a new brush and I kinda like how it looks. I am aiming for a more textured drawing.

Anyway, back to finish that commission. It's *almost* done and I am very excited about it.

Super Old Castlevania fanart <3 bing-watched Nocturne. Not my cup of tea. But I still want to draw some Castlevania again! Even if it is a quick fanart like this one.

Did this super ultra quick Belmont that in the end, took me up more than one month to finish X____X (I was like: this is done, so I just need to add little details here and there. Did that yesterday after a MONTH).

AGH. I was so loaded with work. 

anyway, Castlevania is one of my fave Netflix Shows right now. If you haven’t watched it, you totally should. I am working on an Alucard drawing (along with my Tolkien art, because it’s me and I multitask). it's now or never. I've been trying to post these since two days ago and workload has been overwhelming.Here is N'dek from #iceplanetbarbarians #rubydixon His story hit me like a truck. When you get injured, the path to recovery *is*recovering yourself (or what is left of your previous self). The story is so blatantly honest about it, that you can't help but to fall in love with him. Also, Devi is one of my fave female charas in all romance novels. My #TemplarKnight I did this, because I wanted to draw a knight with a red cape. Then the horse popped up and I wanted to do it because of the horse. They are my favorite animals ever.
