Stan and Ford both go on a reality tv show of some kind

Stan because he ratted and until everyone is put away it's safest for him to be where everyone would see if something happened

Ford because idk, he's investigating something or other

Oof. OK. So, I don't watch reality TV, so bear with me.

Stan's here to be as visible as possible, and let's say Fords there because..... hmm.

Actually first lemme think about what kind of show this is. You know what, it's a cooking one. One of those shows where they get normal people who cook terribly and see who can do the best fulfilling the prompts type thing. No big crowds, not in the woods, easy to keep an eye on a guy!

And the perfect place for Ford to prove to Fiddleford that he does know how to cook. He originally wasn't considered at all as a contestant because he's somewhat decent except they realized he's the twin of the other guy and the drama was too good to pass up

It's an amazing decision. Stan didn't really care and was just there to not get killed, while Ford would have done the bare minimum to pass, but the moment they realize the other is there and it's made clear they can't fist fight or yell or whatever the weird tension was gonna make them do its on. Stan is putting his all into this to one up Ford at every chance while Ford is treating this as more serious then defending his thesis. Ratings sky rocket from watching the two of them go at it, the two of them sabotaging each other as subtly and obviously as possible and totally ignoring the other contestants. There is so much verbal back talk at each other, and then they go so wildly different ways to make things, Ford with scientific accuracy and Stan with haphazard care and then they somehow either make near identical food items or fail in the opposite direction. Fords cake is undercooked and Stan's is slightly burnt, then both of their icing toppers are lopsided and weird looking, Ford because he has never decorated a cake in his life and Stan because he got so into doing like, the sprinkles he had to rush to finish.

Neither of them remember the original reason they're there, too in the zone of smuggly oohing at the criticism from the judges then seething at the praise then stealing eggs and hoarding equipment.

Then near the end someone does try to take Stan out, almost gets shot, Ford tackles the shooter, gets into a yelling match about 'someone's trying to kill you!?' And the atmosphere 180s so fast the rest of the crew gets whiplash. Stan's still trying to keep the rivalry going but it's obvious he's kinda shaken, while Fords one half contestant one half body guarding his brother and even though everyone keeps telling him to go to his own set up Ford keeps wandering over to cook things at Stan's station and grumbling at him.

Then neither of them win, Ford tackles at least two other people, and Stan can't get him to go away and not be in the line of fire. Fords still angry and upset but he's also gonna make sure no one gets Stan during the procedures, and at some point he's going to break in and read Stan's criminal file like the personal boundary lacker he is and 🥺 at Stan while Stan yells at him for trying to preemptively take out his enemies and being a creep
