They didn’t agree on much. In fact, they rarely agreed on everything. They fought all the time. And they challenged each other every day. But despite their differences, they had on important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.

Ignoring the latest crazy episode of HTGAWM, What are your favorite moments of that show?
GOOD QUESTION. Let’s focus on what was so great about the series. In no particular order
1. Sam Keating Is Dead
I remember when it was revealed that Sam was the body in the woods, it was a great reveal because I didn’t have any theories as to who was dead but I know I didn’t think it was him and it was perfect because he wasn’t a character I was invested in and we didn’t spend as much time with him as we did with the others but he had enough significance and enough screen time to have me yell, OH SHIT.
2. Sam Keating Death Reveal
OK, I don’t think Tom Verica is the greatest actor especially against the likes of Viola Davis but even in comparison to Aja and Jack and Liza and I bring that up because I remember thinking that the escalation to Sam’s death was missing a little bit of something and that was Tom’s acting but the episode itself, the pacing was great and the reveal of how he died was fast-paced and entertaining and I was on pins and needles the entire time.
3. “Why is your penis on a dead girl’s phone?”
So one of my issues with my original work is how to end a chapter, I’m really bad with cliffhangers, with a last sentence or last line of dialogue that encourages readers to flip the page and I am in love with this line because it’s the ultimate prompt to have you go WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
4. Holding Rebecca Hostage
I disliked Rebecca as a character because again, I didn’t think the actress was convincing enough especially when she’s meant to be a manipulator and when they do the trial, she’s supposed to be turning them against each other, playing mind games but she didn’t do a good job convincing me that she could, that being said, when Wes, Laurel, Michaela and Connor separate to show Annalise they had duct-taped her and her hostage, I was like, YO, YOU GUYS ARE FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. THIS IS MESSY.
5. Rebecca’s death + Bonnie Reveal
When it was revealed tat Rebecca was dead, I remember just being so excited for season 2 because I was like THEY DON’T CALL IT HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER FOR NOTHING. And then when I found out it was Bonnie who killed her, it was a great twist because “it’s always the quiet ones”.
6. “Shoot me!”
Season 2 wasn’t living up to the consistent excitement and interest of season 1 for me but I appreciate excellent acting and I mean, this episode had a lot happening in it that made it entertaining from Asher killing Sinclair
to Annalise outing the others to Asher so they’re all in it together but the acting, the breakdowns everyone was having when Annalise yells at them to shoot her, the level of frenzy and chaos they all managed to emulate got me in my chest, it was perfect.
7. All of their speeches
I mean, it’s self-explanatory.
8. Asher + Bonfire
I swear, it is the BEST “Meanwhile...” juxtaposition to the rest of the Keating 5 killing Sam and chopping up his body.
9. Emotional moments
Basically, after season 2 I stopped watching HTGAWM for the plot and moreso for the acting because it’s great, convincing, committed acting and even if I think an episode is horrible or a season is shit, that acting never wavers and I love it. No one does a panic attack like Jack Falahee, when Michaela snaps, Aja feels that in her chest, Liza’s vulnerable emotional breakdowns are always heartily felt, Viola Davis is Viola Davis.
10. Annalise and Connor moments
I think Jack and Viola have amazing chemistry together, their scenes are always compelling so I love watching them, I absolutely prefer when Annalise and Connor were bonding and in a healthy place but I did like watching them argue because there’s so much energy between them
11. Simon’s near-death
I didn’t think I’d be surprised by anything HTGAWM did anymore especially since I wasn’t as invested in the show but the way Simon died had me like, oh shit! Did not see that coming.
12. Micasher moments!
I really didn’t expect to like them as much as I did, I was adamantly against them in the beginning but I really enjoyed their relationship and therefore their moments.
13. Coliver Wedding
I’m pretty neutral on Coliver, like I don’t dislike them but I don’t love them although in the later seasons they’ve grown on me a lot more than they did in the first couple of seasons, but their wedding was great and I really enjoyed watching them get married.
14. Bro Moments
I really did like Asher + Coliver and then eventually Michaela + Oliver but I’m also going to say I like the moments where the Keating 4/5 were doing friend things.
That’s all for now ;)

“We haven’t seen a lot of Black, queer love stories between young men. We had Moonlight and Noah’s Arc, but beyond that, we haven’t had a lot of different representations — something that showcases Black queer love in a positive light.” -Dyllón Burnside
