La unidad estándar del SI para medir el nivel de peronismo es el Perón (abreviado Pj). La mayoría de los peronómetros usados en la vida cotidiana suelen venir en escalas de centiperones, pero para usos industriales existen peronómetros en kiloperones y hasta megaperones.

Es interesante destacar que en determinadas mediciones, un peronómetro puede dar como resultado que un individuo sea más peronista que Juan Domingo Perón (cuyas propias mediciones famosamente variaron según los años y hasta según la hora del día). En efecto, el peronista promedio suele ser más peronista que Perón. Este efecto, conocido como "Deriva Justicialista",

Elbiotipo, ojalá muchos yanquis te lean... Porque no tienen ni puta idea de lo que están diciendo. Cada vez que leo o escucho un yanqui hablar de "Wan Peron", me da un aneurisma preventivo.

It's actually not the first time I've seen Usamericans compare Trump to Perón and that's because they see a "charismatic" leader who wants state control and protectionism while promoting nationalism and say "oh just like Trump"

(because, for Usamericans, the Free Market is fundamentally a good thing, and for Perón and Peronism, the market is either controlled by the state in service of the people or controlled by big capital against the people)

The thing is that their knowledge of Perón and Peronism is basically "& then some crazy guy showed up and started controlling the economy for no reason at all, and also Evita don't cry for me Argentina". Peronism is best understood in my opinion as an Argentine expression of third-world decolonial movements. Perón didn't want to control the economy because he was this crazy guy, he wanted because it was under control of foreign interests, mostly British, and he wanted it to be on Argentine hands. Perón could be compared in many ways to expressions like Arab Socialism or Tito's Yugoslavia, and those are, indeed, some of the leaders he cites in La Hora de Los Pueblos, where he adopts a more "non-aligned" view.

This is the context where Peronism appeared in the 1940s. It cannot be equaled to Trumpism in any sense because Trump's nationalism and protectionism is that of an imperial power resentful of losing its role in the global stage, while Peronism appears as a nationalist anti-imperial movement in a country that was a neo-colony (and still is).
