So 06/13 has come again.

It's 06/13 once again Last year’s 06/13 was really tough… But now, June 13th 2025 is truly here. Honestly, I waited for this even more than all of you. I waited & waited & waited—truly.

12th anniversary… twelve years old! It’s like you’re the nephews/nieces of my multiverse. I’m glad you’ve grown up so well. Listen well to your parents—wait, no, listen just a little. These kinds of silly thoughts keep coming to me this evening.

Since it’s also my younger sibling’s birthday today, I spent time with family, and before showering, I broke the tip of my pencil pressing too hard, writing down these strange/bizarre thoughts. Honestly, I never thought this day would come. (T_T..)

Looking back, It always felt overwhelming. Every album, every project, every comeback— How dare I create like that and confidently hand out my business/name card? They say this is love, that this is us.

After resting for a year & a half, I can hardly remember it. Even now, the path still isn’t clear (to me). Each time, I just try desperately to find it.

I love the book called 'The Precision of Love' . Being loved precisely and loving precisely— That seemingly impossible task, I always wanted to try and achieve it. Although ironically, I myself know the least of all how accurately my love reaches.

I think I’ve lived my life trying to interpret & meet your love, to receive it as precisely as I can. I’ll try to go somewhere again—somewhere unknown (to me).

Although I still don’t know well how many people, of what kind and where, are by my side now, I want to walk romantically with you all. Will you come with me?..

Let me ask one more time.

Althrough days of fatigue & sleepless nights, through incomprehensible people and thoughts that cling like tails— I’ll push through all those obstacles once more, & venture bravely into the tomorrow.

At every overwhelming crossroads, it’s because of you that I endured, because of you that I moved forward. I’m grateful, so grateful.

When I try to keep it short, it always ends up long. Guess I’m still too young & immature to be concise. But talkativeness is also proof of clumsy love, so please look on it kindly.

We’ll really do better this time. Thank you for giving us another chance. Once again I love you. It’s a beautiful day. Good night!

안녕하세요 사랑해 마지않는 여러분. 설날은 잘 보내셨는지요 떡국은 드셨는지 뭘 했다고 벌써 한국 나이로 서른 둘이 됐는지 모르겠네요. 악착같이 만 나이로 나는 서른이다 우기는 제 모습을 보니 아 나도 이제 아저씨가 다 됐구나 실감합니다. (덤으로 요즌 서른이면 옛날로 치면 네 다섯살은 빼줘야 된다는 하남자식 주석까지..) 새해 복 많이 받으세요. 연초에 인사를 깜빡했으니, 저 김남준 드디어 병장이 되었습니다 (...) 병김 ! ! 다들 조기진급이라 아마 이제 4명 전원 병장일 거에요 뿌듯하긴 한데.. 군생활은 이제 시작이라나요 ㅎㅎ; 다음 계급이 민간인이라는 게 그래도 너무 행복해요. 병장이라 행복해요.. 처음 입대했을 때 훈련소 조교들과 자대 선임들이 '25년이 오겠냐', '때려죽어도 25년은 절대 안 온다' 하며 해주시던 덕담들이 새록새록 생각납니다. 신기하게 그래도 시간이 가긴 갑디다. 체감상 2년 넘은 것 같은데.. 그래서 저도 후임들한테 똑같이 인수인계 해주고 있죠. Hello to all of you, who I love so dearly. Have you had a good Seollal? Did you eat some tteokguk*? I don't know how I got here but I'm already 32 years old in Korean age. I see myself desperately insisting that I'm 30 according to international age, and it hits me that I've really become an old uncle now. (To make matters worse, like a real loser of a man, I add on that actually, being 30 today is the equivalent of being 4 or 5 years younger back in the day..)

Have a happy new year. Since I forgot to wish you at the beginning of the year. Ah also, I, Kim Namjoon, am now finally a sergeant(…) Sergeant Kim !! Everyone's been getting early promotions so I think all 4 of us are probably now sergeants I am proud but..apparently they say this is where military life actually starts hehe; Still, I'm really happy that my next promotion will be to 'civilian'. I'm happy because I'm a sergeant..

I remember when I first enlisted, all my instructors at the training camp and seniors at the base camp wished me a happy new year by saying things like "You really think 2025's coming?", "2025's not coming anytime soon, not even in your dreams". And yet, it's surprising but, time does indeed pass. Thought it does feel like it's been more than two years.. And so of course, I'm also doing the same thing for my juniors. 'My friend - 2026? Do you really…' Yeah. It's childish. I'm aware. Act my age? I don't wanna.

2024 was an extraordinary year in many ways. Good or bad, I think it's definitely one that I'm going to remember for a long time. How was it for you? For me, I think seeing two members get out and give a lot of support made me feel jealous and relieved. Being a civilian is the best.

When I return as civilian Kim Namjoon, I have so many things that I want to to tell you. Including things that are difficult to talk about right now..I think I should be able to talk about them in my own way at some point. Whenever I can't sleep and am wandering in the night, it's always something I think about. It'll pass, surely.. June 10 is coming. I will definitely be laughing then. Just gotta laugh like hohahhohoho!

It's already February. About 4 months left now. And when March comes, I'll be at the 100 day point.. As always, I will be here, working out, playing in the band, listening to music and watching movies and learning on the weekends, preparing to go back. I hope you all stay well and healthy. I shaved my head, on the occasion of my promotion to sergeant. I'm attaching a picture. Ah, the picture is from before I shaved my head though. Anyway! I'm getting by, however I can, so don't worry too much.
