Every time I see a ‘modern au’ ft a character that has some sort of limb replacement like a metal arm or w/e and the ‘cool au version’ of it is a sleeve tattoo I literally want to reach through the screen and slap some sense into whoever posted it

They got a prosthetic in canon they gonna get a prosthetic in the au!!!! Because, I know this is a little far-fetched, but people who need prosthetics actually exist!!! In real life?! What a coincidence?!

Epic Monday.

Guys, I’ve written a total of 77,000 words for my WIP. Most of which I am absolutely sure will end up on the cutting room floor when all is said and done.  But, I’ve written 77,000 words. 

The other day I had a moment of “OH GOD, this is all so horrible I should trash it. I should never have tried this.” These moments have plagued me as I’m sure they’ve plagued everyone.  

Today. I’m looking at it fresh.  I’m ignoring the fact that most of these words are going to change, or be cut, that some of these ideas are horrible and that my grammar is...well, let’s not get into that.  

I’m going to embrace my ramble-writing. I’m going to keep moving forward and keep working towards the end. 

And when I get to the end... I’m going to fix it. and fix it again. and continue to work on it, because I’ve got 77,000 words written. I’ve got 77,000 words of a world and characters that bring me joy when I need them.
