#so anyway this moment now cracks my heart a bit for two reasons#and the second one is that it preemptively steals Peter's joy upon learning for real and actual that the multiverse is indeed a thing#which is some of quentin's doing#but honestly?#i blame 'fury' and 'hill' here#for looking at him like he's the biggest idiot on the planet for being excited about revolutionary new information#he takes that and he applies it in nwh with strange#and just downplays his reactions#because he learns in this moment that the cool adults don't wanna hear it#am i projecting?#probably#am i wrong?#fuck no
