The Orderâs Compass:
From a joint effort between Ellagaurd and Soren, The Orderâs compass was created. Made before The Order disbanded, this compass can track down every member of The Order of The Stone⌠as long as they are in the Overworld, that is.
It was a mission gone wrong, The Order was separated and none of them knew if the others were alive. It took The Order a whole month and a half for them to find each other.Â
Afterward, Ellagaurd suggested that they make something to help reunite The Order quicker and more efficiently in case something like that happened again. So, Soren offered to help her make a tracking device of sorts.
On the road, the compass behaves as a sort of hot-n-cold tracker; the respective gem glowing for the respective member of The Order the closer it is to them. When used on the pedestal at The Orderâs base, it can pinpoint exactly where each member is on the Overworld map. When The Order disbanded, Gabriel held on to it, hoping no tragedy would come that he would need to reunite his old adventuring party.Â

Adventurers:
In this world, adventurers are a mixture of mercenaries, explorers, and heroes. Adventurers make most of their earnings by acting as hired hands, whether it be going out to slay some troublesome monsters or to escort a merchant through a dangerous set of land, as long as theyâre getting paid theyâll do it. However, they also tend to venture into treacherous caves or uncharted lands, coming back from them with treasures and stories. Sometimes, a group of adventurers can get themselves a bit of fame, being regarded as heroes for a virtuous action they did (ex. The Order of The Stone).

The Order of The Stone:
Long ago, a group of 5 adventurers banded together to form a team. These 5 quickly became known as heroes throughout the land, saving settlements from mob hoards and bandits and exploring places others would never dare venture. With their fame, they became known as:
Soren The Builder
Gabriel The Warrior
Ivor The ApothecaryÂ
Ellagaurd The Redstone Engineer
Magnus The RogueÂ
Together, these 5 friends would face many adversaries and challenges; from the depths of an undersea temple to the unforgiving cold of the arctic, nothing could scare off this band of heroes!Â
Their final adventure was that of conquering The End, defeating the legendary Ender Dragon in an epic battle. After they returned to the Overworld to celebrate their victory, though, a rift seemed to form between the members. Piece by piece, The Order separated; some of them helping to form settlements that would later become grand cities.Â
In the modern day, Gabriel is the only one still adventuring, meeting with fans, and helping others where he can. Meanwhile, Magnus and Ellagaurd are the leaders of two of the largest cities in the world; BoomTown and Redstonia. Soren is nowhere to be seen, some say heâs off in a large fortress, building and researching anything and everything. Finally, Ivor is forgotten by most; though those who do remember him sware they have seen him in markets, shrouded by shadow and an air of spitefulness.Â

Soren The Architect:
Personality:
An eccentric architectural genius, Soren is unafraid of any dangers that come with his studies, however, became more cowardly in adventuring endeavors after discovering the command block (relying on it). Soren has a love of teaching others, hence why he writes so many books. Soren has more empathy for endermen than he does people; this being how they are more predictable and donât betray others (nor do they have conflicting traits that make them even more confusing/frustrating). Although Soren has a talent for architecture and enjoys doing some in his free time, he doesnât like the idea of it being what he is known for.
Backstory:Â
Soren was always curious. Even before The Order and its disbanding, he would excitedly travel around, wishing to gain as much knowledge as possible on anything that even slightly interested him. Once he had gained enough knowledge on a topic for his liking, he would then enthusiastically talk about it for hours on end to anyone who would listen, which was no one. For a long time in his early years, he was alone. Soren was unable to make many friends, or even keep them for long if he did.
However, there was one person he was able to make friends with and keep around; Ivor. Yes, Ivor was always more than willing to listen to Soren about his studies, and Soren always listened when Ivor would ramble about his studies as well. The two were near inseparable, combining Sorenâs inventive ingenuity and Ivorâs potion and enchantment knowledge to create an iconic duo in their youth.Â
In one of his many quests for knowledge, Soren wanted to study the inner workings of an adventuring party as closely as he could. What are the dynamics like? In what way would the party grow and evolve amongst themselves? How did they decide who the leader is? All these questions and Soren wanted answers. Thus he decided that the only way to get satisfying answers was to create his own party, which he named The Order of The Stone. Ivor joined him in this study, the two being an adventuring duo for a good few months. Though, not many people showed interest in joining his team. People were reluctant about joining the team since, well, both Ivor and Soren may talk their ears off with their incessant ramblings! Besides, both of them had the unlucky attribute of seeming quite pretentious at first glance; some people thought the two assumed they were better than them.Â
But just when Soren was giving up all hope, he got Gabriel to join his team. Gabriel was just the edition they needed, sure they had plenty of brains between the two of them. But when it came to more brawn-required situations, they struggled. Sometime afterward they met Magnus and Ellagaurd, who were their own little adventuring duo. They added some much-needed redstone engineering knowledge and spontaneity to the team.Â
So The Order was all set, becoming the most well-renowned adventurers in all the land. There, he studied to his heartâs content, finding all the answers he could ever want on the subject of adventuring parties. Along with the knowledge he earned in his travels, Soren also felt as if he had gained a genuine group of friends that truly wanted him there. Sadly, though, this most-needed friend group of his wouldnât last forever. Soon he was all alone again, back to the same place he started mentally.Â
To avoid this void of loneliness he felt, Soren delved into his studies more intensely, even completely leaving the Overworld to study The End as close as possible. Sometimes he wondered what would have happened if The Order had never found the command block. Could he have been able to keep the party together, even for just a little bit longer? Could he have kept his friendship with Ivor? Could he have had everything his heart desires if he had just let it be? If he had not resorted to lying and secret-keeping? Yes, he may have, but he cannot do anything about it now; he is too far gone. This is where he belongs: in pure isolation, Soren decides.Â
Job:
In the past, Soren had been a researcher, though did building commissions (buildings, statues) to finance his studies. Later on, he would get into the adventuring business, forming The Order of The Stone. Pregame, Soren lives in The End, researching endermen and their environment. Post-Witherstorm arc, Soren runs off to an isolated swamp, building himself a research lab to study potions and enchantments.Â

Ellagaurd The Redstone Engineer:
Personality:
Arrogant and with a guarded formal demeanor, Ellagaurd tends to unintentionally undermine othersâ abilities. She tends to be blunt, and unafraid to criticize others; doing this without care for the otherâs feelings. With a hatred for loud noise, Ellaagurd will immediately dislike someone if they are on the louder side. Although she is a bitch at times, Ellagaurdâs intelligence and engineering prowess can come quite in handy. She tends to let people know whether she respects them or not. Ellagaurd is over-honest, seldom lying. Paired with all of this is her stubbornness, a lot needing to be done to repair oneâs reputation with her if slighted.Â
Backstory:
Once an anxious yet curious newbie, Ellagaurd has always had an eye for redstone engineering. Being new to the world was rough for her, always too anxious about meeting others to step out of her comfort zone.Â
She had a hard time understanding most people, either due to what she considered a strange sense of humor, being rude/not willing to hear what she had to say, complaining/pointing out how much she rambled, or just not willing to try to learn something new because it was âtoo boringâ. This caused Ellagaurd to decide that it simply wasnât worth it to try and get to know people, since most interactions quickly became awkward or frustrating. Though she would never admit it aloud, a part of her wished she had someone to talk to, someone who would understand her and stay around; even if it were just a once-a-year deal.Â
With this lack of friends or social skills, Ellagaurd made up for it with her engineering talents. Soon, she became known as one of the best redstone engineers in the land, taking commissions for her inventive craft.
Although Ellagaurd became regarded as a monotone, blunt, and asocial individual, there was one person that always came back to talk to her; Magnus. He would always come into her workshop and either commission some elaborate bomb circuit or just hang around and talk annoy her while she was tinkering with some new gizmo. Magnus and Ellagaurd were pretty close, despite their disagreements, and soon became a minor adventuring duo known as the Booming Machines. Sure, it took a bit of convincing from Magnus, but Ellagaurd eventually gave in and decided to be away from her workshop for a while.Â
They soon met The Order of The Stone, a group of adventurers who were just starting out, too. After doing a few missions together, Ellagaurd and Magnus decided to join The Order. Thus, Ellagaurd made her mark as one of the greatest inventors in history; a title that later helped her found the city of Redstonia.Â
In The Order, Ellagaurd found a friend in each member. She and Soren got pretty close, too, given their shared inquisitive and inventive nature. Although, even with all these new and true friends, she still seemed to gravitate toward Magnus. In all truthfulness, Ellagaurd felt that he understood her best; being one of the few people to be able to tell from a glance alone whether or not Ellagaurd was upset. Though she would never dare say it aloud.Â
After Ellagaurd and Magnus fell out with one another, Ellagaurd built herself a lab in an isolated area. However, with time, aspiring engineers searched and found her lab; each with questions and asking advice for their craft. Realizing that she could have a better flow of resources through this mean, she decided to simply help create a settlement around her lab. Here she allowed the aspiring engineers to stay, and they eventually named it Redstonia; this settlement became one of the largest cities in the world.Â
Ellagaurd wishes to have Magnus back by her side, thinking up elaborate pranks and taking almost every opportunity to piss her off. However, she feels as if that argument had been the last straw, that she had finally ruined their friendship by letting that argument get to her head. No matter, she will just keep inventing like she always had. She was getting used to being alone again, anyway.
Job:
In the past, Ellagaurd did commissions and sold a few of her inventions. Later, she became an adventurer; during this time she eventually joined The Order. Pregame, Ellagaurd resides in her lab in Redstonia; here she continues her research in redstone engineering and the command block. Post-Witherstorm arc, there are 3 options (depending on player choice): 1) Ellagaurd takes a break from her engineering work to ensure Magnus properly heals from the Witherstorm attack, taking residence in a quiet house between Redstonia and Boomtown. Now and then, she goes to Redstonia to check up on how Olivia is running things. 2) Ellagaurd gets taken in by Magnus, who ensures she fully heals from the Witherstorm attack. 3) Ellagaurd is either dead or mourning the death of Magnus, checking out completely from any sort of leadership duties.Â

The Three Largest Cities:
Beacontown:
Founded by Gabriel The Warrior, Beacontown (population 922) is a bustling city of creativity and architecture. Being one of the largest cities in the world, it is a city associated with building and the arts. There are at least 5 different building and art competitions hosted by the city annually: The Endercon Building Competition, The Parakeet Music Contest, Seppoâs Crafting Competition, Kalaâs Visual Arts Competition, and The Pippin Mapping Contest.Â
This city is built under a large ravine, called the Province Cavern, which is used as both a mineshaft and a mob farm.Â
Beacontown is a fairly popular tourist area due to its variant and unorganized yet lovely constructions. Its citizens are also a hallmark of the city, notorious for being just as colorful and unorganized as its buildings. Beacontown is often known as the âland of artistry and craftsmanshipâ, this being exemplified by the Beacontown College of Craftsmanship and The Arts; known as the best art school in the world.
Founding Story: Sometime after The Order of The Stone disbanded, Gabriel traveled with a caravan for a short time. These travelers were looking for the perfect place to build a beautiful settlement for artists and architects, and they were getting close to finding it. One afternoon while traveling, nightfall was fast approaching; yet there was no real shelter nearby for the caravan to hunker down in. So, Gabriel took it upon himself to make a shelter for them all, digging into the ground to create a manmade cave to camp in. However, as he dug, he uncovered a massive underground ravine (luckily not falling in); one with plenty of lavafalls, waterfalls, gold, coal, and iron to be seen when looking down into it, and there even was a mineshaft further into the ravine! Having found this abundance of resources, and seeing how the land above was plentiful too, the travelers had decided that this was where they would build their city. In honor of how Gabriel had helped to find their home, the caravan built a permanent residence for him in the settlement that he could use anytime he drops by. The leader of the procession, a woman named Maina, named the settlement Beacon. As the settlement grew, it was later renamed Beacontown
BoomTown:
Ah, yes, the town made by griefers, for griefers. BoomTown (population 860-901) - founded by Magnus - is a dangerous and ramshackle sort of city; traps are laid around almost every corner, many buildings are hanging by a thread, and a constant challenge that most residents try to take part in.Â
Whatâs the challenge, you may ask? Well, itâs a simple one: find and kill the current ruler of the town, and you will be the next ruler! Although, itâs really not as simple as it sounds. The ruler is no doubt experienced in combat and has likely slain many in defense of their position. Plus, the ruler at this point has figured out that keeping incognito is the best strategy, so have fun even finding where they even are!
Despite the chaotic and lawless nature of the place, they still trade with other towns and need some of the imported goods those neighbors have. Even though everyone in town is a griefer, they still are aware that things like trade, bases, and peace/truce circles are needed. Thatâs where you get the âGrieferâs Codeâ; 2 rules all griefers follow in BoomTown:Â
Traders are to be left alone⌠for the most part. It's still okay to rob stores and markets, just donât do it 24/7. People canât always forage their supplies, you know. Also, you may have to get some of your supplies from those traders, so donât bully them so much they wonât want to come back.
Peace/truce circles are not to be griefed. They are places of well-needed rest and respite from all the action. Even the most hardcore griefers need to rest, sometimes.
These rules are posted on the âWelcome To BoomTownâ sign at the entrance to the town, to let all who enter know of the only 2 laws. If a griefer breaks the code, they would be seen as an asshole by other griefers. But they have no real law enforcement, so the citizens must deal with these rulebreakers on their own. Â
Founding Story: After The Order disbanded, Magnus decided that he would find more like-minded individuals; others who found delight in chaos and mischief. He traveled around, picking up many griefers from all over the world, promising them a place where they could wreak havoc to their heartâs content. Once he gathered enough for a settlement, Magnus and the other rogues began building the desert settlement that would later get the name BoomTown. There Magnus made the crown competition and established the 2 rules of the settlement. From there, the settlement soon grew into a grand city of chaos.Â
Redstonia:
Known as the city of innovation and progress, Redstonia (population 910) is a city of inventors and engineers. Like Beacontown, Redstonia has a few annual contests: The Inventorâs Competition, Irenaâs Redstone Gambit, and The Piston Contest. The philosophy of Redstonia is simple: trial and error make progress; the residents of the city constantly invent and test out those inventions for errors nearly daily.Â
The city is built over the Redstone Mines, a large and rare collection of redstone ore veins that run deep underground. Many people come to Redstonia for work, as the city is almost always in need of either miners or farmers. The city is notorious for its college, Redstone University; the best college of redstone engineering in the world. Many of the worldâs most renowned engineers attended this school.Â
Founding Story: When The Order disbanded, Ellagaurd headed off on her own, seeking a place to build a great lab. She soon found a place on an island just off the east coast, constructing the lab into a mountain on the island. When the lab was completed, Ellaguard retreated inside to begin her work, only leaving for the mainland to get supplies from a nearby settlement. Soon, however, people began to seek the inventor out; being the best redstone engineer meant that many aspiring engineers wished to ask for advice on their craft. These people began to find Ellagaurdâs lab, and while she was annoyed at the interruption at first, she decided to simply help them make a small settlement next to her lab. In this settlement, any aspiring engineers could stay and better their craft; with the plus that they could ask the inventor for some pointers now and then. As time went on, the settlement grew and was later named Redstonia.Â

The Nether Minecart Track:
Built by The Order of The Stone, This network of tracks spans as a subway system of sorts to all of the cities in the Overworld. The portals that open to this network reside somewhere in each city, often used for fast travel between them. These tracks are most often used by merchants and city leaders.

Magnus The Rogue:
Personality:
Magnus is a loud and boisterous type of guy. He is stubborn, refusing to go along with othersâ ideas unless outvoted or thoroughly convinced. Magnus is pretty dang good at improv and acting in general, willing to stick to an act to the very end. He has enough confidence to raise the dead and is in general rather egotistical. Magnus has a short temper, riling up at even sub-par insults thrown at him. He doesnât ever think things through, if he does have a plan itâs usually one quickly thrown together last minute.Â
Backstory:
Born with a reckless and energetic spirit, Magnus has always been a mischievous ball of destruction. In his youth, he was known as a wandering problem-causer, either playing a prank on someone or stealing from them. Magnus had and still does have a ton of energy, with it being hard for him to stay in one place for too long. For him, friends came and went, no one staying around for too long, always looking for the next thrill; but then again, so was he.Â
Magnus has always had a love for explosions, the way it both lights up and blows away everything in its path made him giddy with excitement. In a way, explosions reminded him of himself: loud and destructive.Â
Like how one would expect from someone with such a destructive nature, he was also dangerously reckless, having way too many near-death encounters; itâs a miracle he even lasted long enough to join The Order. Well, there may be one thing that could elude to his miraculous survival; his longest-lasting friend, Ellagaurd. Yes, despite their opposing personalities and near-constant bickering, the two were very close friends.
One day, Magnus decided that he and Ellagaurd should go out into the adventuring business. After all, she was always holed up in her workshop, maybe she could use a bit of fresh air and excitement. Though it took a lot of convincing, Ellagaurd finally agreed to go with him. They were a great little duo, dubbing themselves the Explosive Machines, solving problems with their combined ingenuity and spontaneity. Eventually, they met The Order of The Stone. The mission Magnus and Ellagaurd were on turned out to be the same one The Order was assigned to. Through a bit of discussion between Ellagaurd and Ivor, the two teams decided that they should do the mission together and split the reward. And through that team-up, the Explosive Machines eventually became a part of The Order of The Stone.Â
Throughout the adventures of the order, Magnus learned more and more about teamwork and patience. The rogue also became quite attached to his new team. They just worked so well together, itâs like it was destiny or something! He got rather close to Ivor, whose potion expertise made an interesting conversation starter. Though, if Magnus were to be completely honest, he always felt the closest with Ellagaurd; sure, they both tended to rile each other up to no end, but the truth is that he felt most comfortable with her.Â
Once The Order had disbanded and he and Ellagaurd had their fallout, Magnus was yet again yearning for the thrill and excitement of his past. He decided that the way to get the thrill he was looking for was to gather like-minded individuals. So, he set out to found BoomTown, a chaotic griefer-filled town. Magnus had purposely made the challenge of killing the king for his crown, fully knowing what it would imply for him - the ruler. After all, whatâs a better adrenaline rush than constantly being hunted by the very citizens you rule over? Deep down, Magnus wants to find Ellagaurd and try and reconnect with her, but his pride refuses to let him; what kind of super cool rogue like him would be all sappy like that? He does wish that Ellagaurd could see him now, how impressed would she be if she saw that Magnus had somehow survived all these years while being hunted for sport!Â
Job:
In the past, Magnus made his way by stealing and freelancing. Later on, he went full-time adventurer and soon joined The Order. Pregame, Magnus is the king of Boomtown, holing himself up in his obsidian tower. Post-Witherstorm arc, there are 3 options (depending on player choice): 1) Magnus decides to take a break from action for a while and ensure Ellagaurd fully recovers from the Witherstorm attack. He would stay in a house between Boomtown and Redstonia, checking up on how Axel is running things in Boomtown from time to time. 2) Magnus gets taken in by Ellagaurd, who ensures he fully heals from the Witherstorm attack. 3) Magnus is either dead or mourning the death of Ellaguard, checking out completely from any sort of leadership duties.Â

Petra:
Personality:
Petra is someone who loves challenges, unafraid of anything life throws her way. While her cool standoff-ish demeanor may intimidate others, itâs honestly mostly a front she puts up for business reasons. The side she reveals to friends is a softer one, but is still stubborn, a bit overdramatic, and aggressive in conflict. While it may not be the simplest task, gaining her friendship will score you with one of the most loyal companions one could ever have. There are 3 things Petra loves: treasure, her friends, and validation. She hates staying somewhere for too long, jumping from one adventure to the next in an almost rapid-fire fashion.Â
Backstory:
Even when she was new to the world, Petra had a thrill-seeking nature. She quickly went out into the world, adventuring anywhere she could reach with her limited supplies. Though she did eventually slow down a little, she would never even consider the idea of settling down.Â
Petra became known for her bravery, always willing to jump into harm's way; whether it be for a paycheque, or to help a friend. Although she never kept friends long thanks to her nomadic lifestyle, Petra never seemed to mind.Â
Soon she decided to stick around Beacontown (an actual town, not quite a city yet), doing freelance work to get by. Here Petra one day met Lukas: a shy, newer player who wasnât quite sure what he was doing. Petra decided to take him under her wing until he got situated. When Lukas made his friend group The Ocelots, he would often invite her to their meetups; even though she was never interested in theater, she would still come every now and then.Â
Even now she is an adventurer, always happy to help⌠for a price.
Job:
Petra works as an adventurer and does general freelance/mercenary work. She is one of the few characters to keep the same job throughout the series.Â

Lukas:
Personality:
Lukas is a kind and understanding individual, always preferring to avoid violence or intense conflict if he can. He often concerns himself with otherâs safety, and has a habit of taking the role of leader in serious situations. At heart, Lukas is a theatre kid, having a love of writing poetry and short stories about legends and history. When he is without his friends in dangerous events, Lukas has a habit of acting more cowardly; when friends are with him, he acts braver. He has a natural charisma about him, which aids him in negotiating with others.Â
Backstory:
New to the world, Lukas struggled with finding his place in it. Being shy and anxious about new people, he would have trouble with socializing at first. Lukas decided that to find his way in the world, he would travel around to find a place to call home.Â
When Lukas came to Beacontown, he met and was taken under the wing of the seasoned adventurer, Petra. She had been around longer and decided to help Lukas find where he belonged.Â
Soon, Lukas met Aiden, a creative soul like him that wished to find where they belong in life. The two hit it off almost instantly, sharing thier creative ideas often. With this newfound friendship, the two were able to reach out and find more creatively-minded people; this friend group was later named The Ocelots. Lukasâs time with his newfound friends helped him find his confidence and charisma; things hidden behind Lukasâs unsureness of himself at the time.Â
Here Lukas truly discovered his love for writing, especially stories and legend. He would often find himself talking with travelers, looking for legends and tales to write about.Â
Job:
Pregame, Lukas would work at the Beacontown Theatre; the largest theatre in the city. At this time, he would also sell some story collections he wrote on the side. Post-Witherstorm arc, Lukas would decide to move into an abandoned old shack outside of Beacontown, making it a small project for him to fix up the dilapidated house. Pre-Season 2, Lukas begins documenting the stories of The New Order of The Stone, his biggest writing project yet.Â

Ivor:
Personality:
Ivor is a grumpy, arrogant, and cynical man⌠at first. Admittedly his demeanor had been rotted by his past betrayal and the isolation he put himself in after said betrayal; though his kinder side can be reached with a little bit of digging. Behind his bitterness, Ivor is an eccentric, innovative, and empathetic person (to his friends, at least). Though admittedly he still thinks himself to be a bit above most other people, and detests admitting he cares for others.Â
Backstory:
Being a curious and booksmart person, Ivor was always one for potionology. In his youth, Ivor would pour almost all his time into reading about potions and enchantments, leaving little time for friends. He would never say he was lonely, but he did wish he had someone to talk about his research with. However he always felt as if the people around him were never⌠on his level; academically, that is, so he never felt that it would be worth talking with them. Of course, that would all change when a certain rambling scholar passed through his town.Â
The day Ivor met Soren, Ivor felt as if he finally found his academic equal. They would spend hours together, either researching their topics of interest or discussing them with one another. It was safe to say that Ivor and Soren were quite close, being the ultimate academic companions for each other.Â
One day, Soren came to Ivor with an idea. He wished to study adventuring parties, and to do so he would make one. Ivor gladly joined Soren in this âstudyâ and was the second member of The Order of The Stone. The two spent many days on the road, going from town to town in hopes of finding both work potential team members. However, most people denied their requests; the asocial dispositions of the pair making it hard for them to find members.Â
Luckily, The Order eventually met Gabriel, who (although hesitant) happily joined the party. With Gabrielâs charisma, the group eventually had Ellagaurd and Magnus with them as well. This group would become Ivorâs truest friends, and he felt as if the others felt that way, too. Through The Order, Ivor learned that just because someone isnât as academically gifted as you, doesnât mean you should disregard them entirely. In fact, he especially become close to Gabriel, someone who isnât exactly known for their intelligence.Â
But of course, all good things must come to an end. After the Ender Dragon incident, Ivor stormed off, enraged at what the others had done and agreed to hide from the public. He ran away to the Far Lands, building himself a home and lab for his research. So enraged he was, that for years he plotted and schemed for a way to get revenge against his former âfriendsâ. Ivorâs embarrassed to admit that he quickly began thinking with the burning core of anger within him rather than his own logic or morals, coming up with the plans for the Witherstorm. Eventually getting his hands on the command block, Ivor began his plot in blinded earnest.Â
Job:
In the past, Ivor was a potions seller in his town. Sometime later, he joined The Order and began adventuring. Pregame, Ivor worked on his evil scheme within his base, only going out to gather materials. Post-Witherstorm arc, Ivor moved into Beacontown, soon beginning to rekindle his relationship with Gabriel.Â

Gabriel The Warrior:
Personality:
Gabriel is a showman at heart, egotistically boasting of his strength, bravery, and looks at almost any opportunity he can. This paired with a good-hearted nature and a seeming detachment to close relationships made Gabriel both a heroic figure, and a mysterious and interesting character in the eyes of the public.Â
However, this is all just smoke and mirrors⌠mostly. While yes, it is true that Gabriel wishes to help those in need, his bravado and ego is all just an act. The true Gabriel is kind-hearted, kind of dumb, loyal to a fault, and a bit of a coward. He never quite has the strength to stand up to others socially, but will if given a good push by his friends. Though, he truthfully is wary of forming new relationships, fearing theyâll go up in flames like his last group did.Â
Backstory:Â
Long ago, before The Order of The Stone formed, Gabriel was just an adventurer with a heart of gold. He simply went from town to town, always looking for new sights to see and people in need of help.Â
However, after a while, he discovered his sublime ability to be especially lucky. Yes, luck followed him wherever he went; if he were digging straight down, Gabriel would not fall into lava or ravines, if he were fighting mobs, lighting would never strike the creepers nearby, if he were mining he almost always seemed to come across valuable ore veins, or even if he was lost in the middle of nowhere, he could always find his way back to the path. This notorious luck of his made him popular among adventuring groups, who wouldnât want a walking luck magnet on their team?Â
Although many people wanted him to be a part of their team, Gabriel felt that most were only using him for his seemingly boundless luck, so he would politely deny most offers. Until one day, he met a man named Soren. Soren was trying to form a party of adventurers, though he was having tough luck with his goal; the only other member was his friend, Ivor. Gabriel, deciding to give it a shot for once, agreed to join the party. The three became quick friends, and Gabriel decided to stick with the team from then on. Eventually, the group met Ellagaurd and Magnus and became The Order of The Stone.Â
Throughout The Orderâs adventures, Gabriel always seemed to be at the right place at the right time to be painted by bystanders as the victor. In one instance, Gabriel and Ellagaurd defended a settlement from a hoard of mobs. Around the end of the scuffle, Gabriel accidentally set off one of Ellagaurdâs traps early, killing the last of the mobs. The townsfolk saw this and thought he had intended to do it, he and Ellagaurd went along with the story.Â
Despite the way in which he always found himself hiding his true (not quite as brave) self from the public, Gabriel always felt at ease around his party/friends. He had gotten especially close to Ivor who, although was snappy and aloof at first, began to get along with the warrior; learning to appreciate his heart more than his (lack of) intellect. This closeness only made it hurt more when that infamous fight broke out between Soren and Ivor. Admittedly, Gabriel also felt unsure about The Orders actions, but he never quite had the strength to say it like Ivor did. After Ivor left, Gabriel soon left, too, feeling as if he couldnât handle much more of the lies of The Order.Â
Job:
In the past, Gabriel was an active adventurer, and then a member of The Order Of The Stone. Pregame, Gabriel still does a little bit of adventuring on the side, but he mostly attends events, meets with fans, and manages most of The Orderâs public reputation in the modern day. After the Witherstorm arc, Gabriel decides to finally retire from adventuring, settling down in Beacontown and taking up small odd jobs here and there; along the way mending his relationship with Ivor.

Ok so, the backstories of certain characters may be a bit long compared to others. But this is only because those characters have been around longer and thus had more things happen. Also because their past drama ends up effecting the plot of the game.Â
