You felt the rush in your throat as you gulped the glass of beer your friend just gave to you, again. You’ve been there in the club with your closest friends three hours ago to celebrate a sort of “bridal shower” for Sunny who will be married in two days. As you finished drinking the rest of your beer, you glanced at your watch, its already 10:15 pm and you need to get out of here real quick. Just as you are preparing your things, So Min asked you, “Hey ______! So when are you and "love”?“, as she signals the quotation marks with her fingers.

"What do you mean?” you asked while having a small smile on your lips. You already know what that means, she is asking when are you and your longtime boyfriend will be engaged.

“Aw! C'mon girl! You’ve been dating this whole time and we know he’s gonna marry you eventually!”

“Yeah yeah, its up to him if he’s actually gonna marry me so lets wait for it and let him do his work, hm? Anyway girls, I need to go. I’ll see you all at the wedding okay? I have high alcohol tolerance and I didn’t drank too much tonight. You shaked your head many times when your phone lit up and you connected it to the speaker phone. “Hi love! You doing alright? Im going home actually”.

“Hey love, I should be asking you that, Im very sure you drank and don’t tell me its just a small amount, I can smell your breath here” you heard him have a small laugh at the other line. “Im gonna get you there.”

You actually rolled your eyes and smiled because of his lame joke but you quickly said no. “I got my car and its only a twenty minute drive home, you know that. Please, rest. I got this.”

He didn’t say anything anymore because he knows you’ll definitely deny even if he insists. You heard him sigh and said “Fine. Just drive carefully and slowly, okay?”

“Yeah, yeah. I will.”

“I love you so much, _______”

You will never get tired of hearing this statement from his feathery voice. “I love you too, Jimin.”

And with that you turned on your engine and went off.

When he reached the intersection, the light is on red. So he turned on the bluetooth speaker on his helmet to be able to listen to music.
