Roleplays should stay SFW please. Anyway send an ask or scroll on through to read some lore. I drop random tidbits here every once in a while. Sometimes there's stuff from different AUs that contradict each other. Also ninety nine percent of this takes place in the TMNT universe.

Sfw, maybe some violence, lotsa cuteness!
Universe- ROTTMNT
backstory- Venus de Milo is the baby sister of the family, and for the first time her big brothers and Sensei are taking her to the hidden city- until her powers act up and she goes missing!
Venus VS. The Hidden City
“Who’s a cute baby! Who’s the cutest baby! Who’s my cutest baby sister!” Mikey cooed, getting his baby sister Venus dressed in a clean diaper and a little teal blue tutu for the day.
Venus the little Indian Tent turtle was a year old today, and to celebrate her birthday, Splinter had decided they should take her on a special trip to the hidden city. It would be her very first time leaving the lair.
Venus giggled cutely, then suddenly sneezed, a spike shooting out of her shell directly into Donnie’s lab. Luckily, it missed his head… sort of. The spike bounced off the titanium bust and speared Donnie’s desk.
He sighed, and came out of the lab holding the deadly weapon. “Are we sure this is such a good idea? She has no control over her powers. What if-”
“Oh, re-laaaax ya big buzzkill!” Leo cut him off, tying Venus’s teal bandana over her head carefully. “If we can handle Shreddy, we can take care of a whittle baby fow one day, wight, Venus?” His words devolved into baby talk as he picked up his baby sister.
Before Donnie could respond, Splinter came into the room with April and Raph in tow. “Is everybody ready to go?”
Everybody nodded, Donnie reluctantly so.
In the Hidden City, they started at the wishing fountain. Then they went to the zoo, then an ice cream parlour. It was all good and fun times, until, as Donnie had predicted, Venus’s powers started to act up.
She was sitting on Mikey’s lap, when she suddenly took on a shimmery appearance, and fell right through him and the chair onto the floor, as though she were a ghost!
Suddenly free of her brother’s grasp, Venus started toddling away. Raph got up to chase her, but she toddled right through a wall, which Raph momentarily forgot he himself was still very much solid, and he slammed face first into the wall.
Leo ran out the door to follow her, when the laughing Venus suddenly hiccuped, and disappeared in a flash of light.
“Uh… did anybody know she could poof?” He asked aloud, looking around for the baby turtle.
“She can WHAT?” April gasped, coming around the corner with the others in tow.
“Venus can teleport. Because of course she can. The intangibility power and the crawling all over the walls doesn’t make her hard enough to take care of!” Donnie ranted.
“Come on, we gotta find her before she gets hurt!” Leo started running, not even sure what direction he should be running in.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Hidden City, in witch town, Venus was toddling through the streets, watching all the pretty spells. She laughed and clapped her hands when a witch made a light show, but got spooked when another’s spell back fired, and started running off, her panic turning her invisible.
Frightened, Venus scampered through the streets, still invisible, and luckily intangible as well, as numerous vehicles and mutants zoomed past all around her.
“Bubba, bubba, bubba!” She cried, looking around to try and see anything the right shades of bright green, blue, red, purple or orange.
Leo ran right into witch town, looking around desperately. The turtles started asking witches if they’d seen Venus.
“She’s tiny! Only like an inch tall!” Raph told one witch.
“And she was wearing a teal bandana. And her little tutu.” Mikey explained to a taller witch in a blue and red uniform. “And she had her binkie with her!” Splinter tried to help.
“Venus doesn’t have a binkie.” Mikey corrected.
“She loves pizza, and skateboarding, and pizza, and her tutu, and pizza…” Leo showed a picture of Venus to the witch mayor.
“An Indian Tent turtle. She’s only one.” Donnie was explaining to Gentrie. April was by his side showing her a video of Venus on her phone.
“Yeah! I saw her!” Gentrie nodded. “She was toddling around, and then she suddenly turned invisible and disappeared. I think she was headed down Firevolt Street, towards downtown.”
“Thanks Gentrie.” Donnie nodded. April relayed the info via text to the others as she ran after Donnie down the busy street of Firevolt, narrowly dodging getting run over twice.
Searching for Venus, they stopped at the pier, and questioned some pirates. Leo kept his head low as the pirates pointed further down town.
In the Mystic Library, all they uncovered was a furious librarian, and were immediately kicked out, thankfully finding a good samaritan who had seen a little turtle tot heading towards the tracks.
Venus had toddled her way through the bad part of town, to the wrong side of the tracks.
“Bu?” She looked around, so very lost and scared.
She had reappeared after her energy had run low for her invisibility power and now she was shivering with cold.
“Hey, you.” A voice called.
Venus looked around. “Bubba?”
A yokai stood over her. He was green and had a blue jean jacket with the sleeves torn out, black pants and sandals, and a blue bandana tied around black hair. He was also strangely fluffy.
Venus, however, being the unobservant toddler she was, only saw green and blue, and decided he looked a lot like-
“We-oh!” She giggled, happy to finally see a familiar face. “We-oh! We-oh, up!”
The yokai, who was definitely not Leo, picked Venus up. “Uh, I dunno who Leo is, but I’m Loathsome Leonard.”
Venus looked at him blankly, then clapped her hands. “We-oh!” She proclaimed.
Loathsome Leonard sighed. He definitely wasn’t in the right business to be taking care of a baby… if he brought her back, the guys would definitely make fun of him.
“Hmm… what’s your name, kiddo?” He asked.
“Vena!” Venus replied, clapping her hands. She liked this game.
“Vena, huh? Well, from now on… you’re going to be Vicious Vena! You’re going to be a part of the Mud Dogs!” Leonard decided. This kid had potential. He had seen her turn visible from being invisible. That power would certainly be useful for a thief. Not to mention whatever other powers she could have.
“Mud doggy?”
Leonard shrugged. “Eh, the guys’ll forgive me for this.”
Meanwhile, the Mad Dogs were slowly getting discouraged, standing by the tracks, staring over at the wrong side, arriving well after Loathsome Leonard had left with Venus.
“Sooooo…” Mikey hummed. “Who wants to go first?”
Leo slowly stepped over the tracks to the wrong side. Hesitantly, the others followed, Mikey stepping over last, just before a very long train zipped behind them, trapping them there for a good long while.
“N-now what?” Mikey piped up, shivering.
“It’s okay. Don’t be scared.” Raph assured him.
“I’m not scared! It’s just cold over here!” Mikey protested.
“It’s the exact same temperature on this side of the tracks as it was on that side of the tracks.” Donnie pointed out.
“Well, I’m in a cold spot!”
“Guys.” Leo snapped. “Listen. You hear that?”
“Nnnoooo?” April replied, straining her ears to listen.
“I do!” Mikey gasped. “It sounds like pizza sizzling in a wood oven-”
Master Splinter smacked Mikey upside the head to shut him up.
“No, it sounds like somebody giggling!” Leo corrected, running off again.
The others followed, down the street and around a corner, screeching to a halt when coming face to face with the Mud Dogs. The worst part? Their leader, Loathsome Leonard, had Venus in his arms.
Venus was confused. If that was her family, and the turtle with the swords was Leo, then…
Who was holding her?
She let out a screech. Her screams were so loud that they caused a wave of sonic vibrations that made car alarms go off and nearby windows shatter.
Everybody covered their ears, Leonard dropping Venus in panic.
Venus teleported away, appearing at the very top of a nearby building, crawling on the side of it like Spider-Man. Leo and Leonard both yelled at the same time.
“Venus!”
“Vena!”
Poor Venus flinched at being yelled at, panicking and letting go of the side of the building.
Quickly, Leo started waving his odachi around. “Portal, please, don’t fail me now!” He begged.
To his (and everybody else’s) relief, the portal worked, one side opening just above Leo, and the other opening just below Venus, who fell through and into her brother’s arms.
“Gotcha.” Leo breathed.
Dastardly Danny stepped forward. “Awright, here’s whatcha gonna do. Yer gonna hand ‘er over, and then yer gonna skedaddle!”
“No.” Loathsome Leonard held his arm out to stop his team. “A baby’s too much work anyway.”
The Mud Dogs stared at Leonard like he was crazy, and started to argue.
The turtles, of course, hadn’t waited around to hear this. As soon as Danny had stopped talking, Leo had made a portal and they all jumped through.
Back at home, safe and sound, Venus let out a huge yawn.
“Yeah, it has been a long day.” Mikey agreed, stretching. Leo carried Venus to her cradle while Donnie got her lullaby music queued up and Mikey started making her bottle.
(Bonus):
Danny, upset at losing Vena, was stomping around, kicking rocks. He’d been excited to have a little sister, he didn’t care that she already belonged to somebody.
That was when crying caught his sensitive ears. He followed the sound until he came to a pile of rubble, where he could see the remains of a Yokai crushed under the debris.
But this one was dead, where was the crying coming from?
He dug a bit, until he found, in the middle of the pile, a couple rocks had landed just right that they made a shelter around a small green Yokai.
Danny picked her up, grinning. “Hey there, little pipsqueak.”
The Yokai was a turtle, he noticed, with yellow spots all over her shell. She had a yellow bandanna around her neck. The back of the bandana had a name stitched into it.
Jennika.

She laughs and wraps an arm around your shoulders, holding you close while being careful not to crush you. "Sweet air, and I know you would- and could! My darling kmight~" she giggles. The light of the stadium starts to dim slightly, dramatic lights in the ring turning on.
I gladly snuggle up to her and watch the arena.
I still have that feeling gnawing at the back of my head, like I’m being watched, but I shove it away again.
#Ming is paranoid af#she’s gonna be thinking she’s going crazy pretty soon lol#wouldn’t be the first time

"It's alright, I just want you to be comfortable. If you get uncomfortable at all, let me know and I'll get you out of here, alright?" She said, holding you close as the arena starts to fill up with terrapin, few other species. She smiles at you "I'll dry the oceans if you need me to, love."
I blush, smiling up at her. “Aw. And I’d fight through a hundred space-pirates just to protect you.” I promise quietly. Perhaps it’s a cliche, but it’s still a promise that I truly mean.

Ruri grins at you apologetically, and leads you to a row of seats with dry ground for your feet, making sure to put herself between you and all the water.
"Sorry, I should have mentioned before... a lot of entertainment buildings have stuff like that. Feet warmers." She says, settling down on a cushioned seat.
I nod. “Yeah, it’s an amphibious planet, and you said it was like ninety percent water. At this point I dunno what I expected.” I tease, leaning on her shoulder.

A short aquarium hallway, lit bright blue, and on the other side an open oval arena, two sets of staircases lead down to the ring from raised walkways for staff and contestants. The actual seats surround the arena, looking comfortable and very similar to earthly stadium seats. There's a shallow pool running in front of every seat, bubbling softly.
Ruri walks up from behind you and rubs your shoulder gently. "There are dry seats if you'd like." She says.
I glance nervously at the shallow pools. “Yeah, dry seats. Please.”
I gaze down at the ring, but am careful to watch my footing as I follow Ruri.
Her having to save me wasn’t the worst idea in the world to me… but maybe not in front of all the other terrapins that were here.

The last time Ruri smiled this widely was when she first shared a kiss with you. But seeing her now, she's thrilled and excited and in love as she leads you to the grand entrance, framed by an elegant silver arch etched with terran script going up and around the doorway. "After you, princess." Ruri says, holding the door open for you.
“Thank you, my knight.” I flirt, stepping through, and gasping at the sight, just as breathtaking as outside.

(Sorry, I had to get poetic for a moment there, you inspired me hehe)
There's hardly ever been a more beautiful sight on any of the many planets you've been to, pulled along by this Terran woman, glass towers and blue-green gardens framing the vibrant sky above. It's pristine, and the world itself seems to frame the most beautiful gem of all.
Ruri, beaming with a rekindled excitement, leads you through streets with bright signs and advertisements, previews of movies and plays of all sorts appear in holograms by a theater, muffled music echoes from the open door to a club, and all sorts of shops appear with accompanying products. But as the twisting road broadens out into a large open area, road becoming a garden with fountains and decoratively trimmed plants of all sorts, some even foreign to this world, including the largest weeping willow tree you've ever seen. In the middle of this garden is a similarly round building, short, but densely decorated, with silver walls and turqoise mosaics inset into them depicting scenes of combat between terrapin and mythical beasts, as well as terrapin on other terrapin.
I take in the view, my gaze flickering back to Ruri every once in a while. Seeing her here, in a world where she fits in so nicely, her beauty not being outshined by but complimented by everything around her… and seeing her so happy. I don’t think I’ve seen a smile so big on Ruri’s face.
It makes me wonder why she ever would have left a place that makes her so happy, while thanking my lucky stars that she did so I could get to be the one to know her and love her and call her mine…

"I thought so, Sweet air!" She pulls back a bit more, keeping one large hand on yours. "But first, let me show you to the arena!" Ruri is barely holding back her excitement
Her excitement is contagious, and I grip her hand as we walk over the glass streets of the city. Terra is a beautiful place… but not as beautiful as the turtle right in front of me, grinning with excitement and pulling me towards this arena that she’s so excited to see.

She laughs, holding the hug for a few seconds longer before pulling back, still keeping her arms around you. "But I do know it, Sweet air. Maybe we could take sometime to spar after the ring to prove it?" She offers.
My eyes light up at the idea of sparring. “Ohhh that would be lots of fun, Princess!”

She grins even wider and scoops you up in a big hug, strong arms wrapping around you. "Ohh, you're too flattering, princess! You know I could never fight as well as you~"
I wrap my arms around her neck as she picks me up, blushing and laughing. “Oh I don’t know about that, pretty girl.”

She laughs out loud regardless of some curious looks and leads you out of the resteraunt. "I know you do~ just don't get too into the game and make me jealous." she teases, she has no worries in her heart though
“Oh, please, I’ve seen the way you practise. There’s nobody on this planet or any other that could compare.” I look at her with adoration shining in my eyes.

Ruri grins, smiling wide. "I'm glad you asked! The ring is basically our little sports arena, usually one-on-one stuff. Sparring, wrestling... boxing." She holds back a laugh, her passion for the sports clearly shown
I can’t help but return her smile. “Well, you know, I HAVE always had a weakness for boxers…” I wink at her.

"Yeah, I suppose." She says, her expression returning to normal, evidently brought back. "Oh, and that depends! I have a few ideas, the entertainment district is pretty close, and there's pretty much all sorts of fun stuff there! Theaters, faire grounds... the ring." She tries to hold her excitement, but it slips through when she says the last option.
“Th ring huh? What’s that about?” I get up from the table and take her hand.

"Ah, yeah. Oh, nothing's wrong! But um. It looks like someone covered it? The meal."
“Oh.” I smile. “Well that’s a pleasant surprise!” Inside my head, I don’t quite know if I trust it, as I can feel somebody’s eyes drilling into the back of my head, but I ignore it. I’m probably being paranoid, I always am. Comes with the territory of my job, I guess.
“Where to, next?”

Ruri looks into your eyes for a while, losing herself with a silly smile on her face. It takes a few minutes before she snaps out of it as the waiter walks by. They say a few words in Terran, and you can see the very human expression of confusion flash across her face for a second. She shakes her head and looks back at you when the waiter walks away. "So uh, I hoped you liked the food! Hopefully you can still walk after eating all of that, hah." She says, paying attention to you, but there's clearly something lingering in her mind
I laugh along. “Yeah, it was great! But…” I lower my voice. “Ru… is something bothering you? You know you can talk to me about anything, right?”

Ming’s dream was to be a ninja like her brothers.
Guess who’s a ninja like her brothers, AND has cool powers they don’t have?
What was your OC's dream job as a child? How much does it line up with what they're doing now?

I have a different AU where Ming (TMNT little sis au) and her girlfriend :D find a little kid and adopt them and Raph calls the kid “Pipsqueak’s little Squeaker” (cuz Ming is short and Raph calls her Pipsqueak)
And Ming HATES it until one day the kid goes “I want my Papa!” And points at Ming. Somehow the kid got Papa from Pipsqueak and Ming MELTS ITS SO CUTE
The name has the potential to change later but for now I like Buck because it feels like a natural progression from affectionate nickname to a name that sticks
Yeah! Honestly I love those kinds of names
