Is your life missing power? Volume? Power and volume? mini and the Bear brings you the PWR VOL pedal, the signature distortion unit optimized for multi-channel bass overdrive that combines buzzsaw harshness and feedback with low end crunch and rumble for all of your distortion needs — or, actually, one of your distortion needs. The right one. You see, we’ve contacted every single power volume band in North America to best understand and optimize the settings for the best tone. Fear of missing out on tone? No longer! Analysis paralysis? Kiss it goodbye*! We’ve cut out all of those pesky knobs so you can spend less time pretending to know what you’re doing twisting those dials and more playing shows for audiences of six to eleven people. Damn, it’s tough out there in the underground.
Order today!

We’ve partnered with the new literary imprint, B.O.S.S. Underground Press to release our new record in the form of a musical score for the appropriately titled PWR VOL:
Autonomous facial hair. The grating contradictions of existence. Unwanted brunch invitations. The struggles are plentiful in this philosophical netherworld imagined by Nick Scandy, illustrated by Aaron Zonka, and set to music via mini and the Bear’s accompanying score. In PWR VOL, the frenetic rhythms, absurdist delusions, and cacophonous irrealities of modern life all find themselves pumped through full stacks of amplifiers, powerfully blasted at the maximum volume they deserve.
And you can order the book from the B.O.S.S. Underground Press Webstore or a little mom and pop shop called Amazon.  The musical score can then be downloaded at bandcamp and will also make its way to the usual streaming services and download platforms starting in December.
On top of all of that, mini and the Bear is hitting the road for a quick Pacific Northwest tour loop in support of PWR VOL.  Let’s examine existence together!  Loudly, in dimly lit bars.  I’m sure Sartre and Nietzsche would approve.
