I’ve finished Andor and his robot pal. I’m rather pleased with both of them. The robot is various levels of metalics, covered by Black Templar contrast.

Finally doing the Indomitus space marines. I was holding back, hoping some new and exciting commander was going to be released for one of the chapters, but now I’m just doing them as Imperial Fists as the rest of my marines. With my luck they announce a new Dante next week.

After doing GW stuff for so many years, I just can’t stop myself trying minis from other companies and games. Here is a sample of stuff I’ve been doing recently. They are from Nemesis, A song of Ice and Fire, Twisted Fables, Turnip28, and Joan of arc.

Here are some more Infinity miniatures. They are the minis from the Xanadu Rush Dire Foes pack. I’m fairly happy with them, but the nomad one as a pain to paint.
Also included is the bonus mini for Crimson Stone: the Dragon Lady.

Here are the rest of the Crimson Stone Infinity starter. I enjoyed painting them more than the nomads, and they turned out quite good I think

More A song of ice and fire minis from the Baratheon starter. This time it is the Stag Knights. Also included is the first army I’m able to construct. I’m using the alternate army building rolls for a small force.

I wanted to paint up a full army for A song of Ice and Fire. I got the basic Baratheon set and this is the first unit. It was an interesting challenge to do all the nmm armor.

Here is some more models with oil paints. I’m very pleased with the pale yellow, and the oil really deepens it. Also, the silver is liquid silver.

I’ve started to mix 40K CSM models with my World Eaters Horus Heresy. I really like the blue, white and gold scheme. The clean and pure colors look so striking on the otherwise depraved models. On this one I used both oil paints to shade and liquid gold.

I’ve just gotten started with Corvus Belli’s Infinity. Excellent models that are a joy to paint, though the metal needs getting used to. The paint chips more easily. Here are the Nomads from the set. I found the red metal hard to do right, the Ariadna green cloth was far easier. However, it was fun to try to personalize each nomad by varying skin tones, hair color and weapon design.

I’ve started experimenting with oil paints when painting miniatures. I think it looks good. I want to return to my Imperial Fists army.

Finally done with my first full regiment for A Song of Ice and Fire. For some reason it felt really good doing a rank-and-file unit after many years.

Both the Empire and the rebels needed some reinforcements. Sabine was hard to paint, and she ended up so-so. The Shore Troopers however was so fun to paint, and they ended up really good I think.
