jackie had her bad character traits, little things like this bringing them out in her. in her mind, this was what she needed. growing up, it wasn't normal. she swears she was on tour buses for ninety percent of her toddler years, she loved it. she did but of course, and with understanding, the little normal things that would happen here and there were things she held close to her, she enjoyed a little more.

she groaned, “it's not worth fighting with you, is it?” she figured this would go on for a little more, getting a little more aggressive and then ally would make her final say, which would result in jackie being in her room for the rest of the night on a bad foot with her mother.

she rolled her eyes, “okay fine, ill stay home and rest, because you and i are gonna have a movie night with m&ms and popcorn. you're gonna make the party, im supposed to be at mommy. im gonna shower, you pick a movie, deal?” she said it in that joking tone, but she wasn't joking. no sarcasm, she figured they could make a night of it.

just from the look on her mothers face, jackie could tell any plans she had for the night could be considered canceled. but still, she was going to try to convince ally she was perfectly fine to go out for the night.

a slight shrug waved off her shoulders as ally began mothering. she snapply grabbed the tissue from her mother, wiping her nose roughly.

“are you serious? its just a little like here and there, its a friday, mom. a friday, what teenager wants to be stuck at home on a friday?” she turned the ally, replacing where ally was just standing. her right shoulder leaning against the doorframe, her head following right after it.

of course this was not going to be easy. jacqueline was practically a clone of ally in terms of her stubbornness. she crossed her arms across her chest as she prepared for the argument that was to come from her daughter, more amused than anything else that she thought this topic was even a discussion. “calm down there, rebecca black.”

ally snickered at her own (outdated) reference, petite frame turning to follow the gaze of her daughter when the two of them switched places. she’d been in her place before; wanting to go out and then being forced to stay home. she wanted to at least attempt to show that she could relate to her.

“do you really think i wouldn’t be serious about you getting back in bed when you’re sick?” ally shook her head, arms falling back down at her side to be more approachable. “i wouldn’t wanna be stuck in bed on a friday either, but you’re sick, baby. you need to rest.”

jackie looked up at she tucked a few loose strands of hair behind her ear, shutting her laptop with a loud sigh. she sat up, her attention fully focused on her dad, “i was. . .not really anymore.” to be honest, it was wrong on both ends and she hated, HATED to admit it. they were all fiesty, the entire maine family. after a few seconds of silence, she finally asked “are you...mad at me? i wasn't the nicest...either. ”
