The Sydney Sweeney rper inspired me. I play Aaron Taylor Johnson because I disapprove of his life choices. I play him against a Sadie Sink because he deserves someone more appropriate. As an rper of celebrities it’s my job to rp the celebrities how I think they SHOULD be carrying out their lives. Now whenever I see Aaron and Sadie in real life, I just think about their sweet romance and seven kids, and their adopted foster uncles Dr Phil and Sam Seder. It makes me feel good about my life as a life. The true reason most of us do celeb rp is because we hate how celebrities throw away their lives. We can be them but BETTER

Sometimes I wish I didn't know how to read. I'm done. I thought this couldn't get any worse or creeper but... I will leave it up to the universe to help me out.

fuck the haters, i personally think you were way nicer to that sydney sweeney anon than they deserved. that confession they sent was one of the worst things i’ve ever read on here, you could not have waterboarded that out of me. and tbh it made me think about how… that’s exactly the kind of person i can’t help but fear is on the other end every time i actually allow my ocs a potential ship with someone else’s character (if i don’t already know the mun). i don’t want to write with someone who’s only using our rp to live vicariously through it, or filling a deep void within themselves - it’s a creative outlet, not a pseudo relationship. the thought of that is so gross to me, and those people are always the weirdest, clingiest ship partners who suck all the joy out of the hobby with their self inserting and literally not being able to separate ic from ooc bc of the emotions tied to what’s being written. not only is it unhealthy to let yourself be that way, it’s gross to subject another person to. / end rant

Thank you! I wasn’t planning to post anything else, but I’ve got a few more thoughts to share because honestly—I can’t believe what I just read and I will post next. And also, I totally agree with you. When I left the RP community, Shawn Mendes was just starting to rise as a face claim, and the number of times I played him (I had female, male, and nonbinary characters) made me want to quit entirely. Why? Because people only wanted him for ships—and more than that, it felt like they were chasing the fan energy of being with Shawn, not the actual character I was writing.

My most fulfilling, creative, and well-developed ships came from genuine chemistry between me and my writing partner, paired with strong character growth from our ocs. Forced ships? Not fun. Rushing into an “endgame” dynamic? Also not fun. That’s not how relationships work, fictional or otherwise. I used to love writing friendships, complex family dynamics, and even rivalries—because that is where the content lives. I don’t want a ship just to be reduced to aesthetic edits or Pinterest boards. I want the story.

To everyone in my inbox calling me names and spilling spiteful words, I wish you well because I won't give you any more attention. Life must be miserable if this is what you defend and stand for and as I said before: celeb rp is disgusting, and creepy, and impersonating someone else is not only criminal but goes against Tumblr policies. At least, be mindful and don't drag children into it because even if their parents are famous, they are not and have not chosen this life.

Every ask you answer shows how much why people don't like you and why you're not welcome in RP groups. You're too puritannical and woke. Are you a Trump supporter? Would bet you want to ban books and support anti abortion.

Babes… LMFAO. First of all, I’m so loved it’s borderline ridiculous—I count my blessings every day. How do you even know if they like me or not? Second, it’s been a minute since I was active in RP, but when I was, I was always welcomed with open arms. I made friends I still talk to to this day, and every group I joined was genuinely incredible. Back in 2013, I founded and ran a group that lasted nearly four years, and I still get messages from people saying they miss it. Again, how would you know?

And let’s clear a few more things up while we’re at it: I’m absolutely not a supporter of the orange man, I’m not even a citizen of that country. As for the anti-abortion nonsense… what kind of leap in logic was that? Whatever you’re on that made you pull that out of thin air—please share, because it must be strong.

And with that, bye. Going back to my real life because this was good for the giggles but it's too fucking weird to even try and have a rational conversation.
