I love how squirrels have little whiskers on their forearms. I love how blue jays go bald in mid-August. I love how cardinals and their babies chirp and chat from some unknown place in bushes and shrubbery. I love how fish crows caw and meow and coo at each other when they’re happy. I love how yellow jackets buzz around and do their own thing (though much to my horror). I love how red squirrels constantly chitter at anything that moves. I love how honeybees rustle around in flowers. I love I love I love. So much whimsy in my heart for the nature that exists in the everday.
