After reading a few more people talk about the "Blue and Green World" special, it made me realize that the villains have little to no purpose in the plot other than Paisley's rushed redemption arc and to give the Kratt Brothers a reason to use their suits in a heroic way (cause it's a "magical girl but for boys" show for kids.)

I mean, the "brothers fighting" plot would've been the perfect opportunity for the villains, especially Zach, to use it at their advantage. Zach would've made them turn against each other to either divide the team as a distraction or use the suits for his schemes.

If I have the power to change the special, It would go out like this:

The brothers fight due to laundry day, but they cool off after the team calm them down. Zach, spying on them and was looking for a way to distract the Wild Kratts from foiling his schemes, has an idea to make the brothers believe they said horrible things about each other behind the other's back. This would cause the brothers to rival each other, using their suits and their interests to compete who is better due to the rumors. Eventually, after Zach takes the rest of the team out of the picture, the brothers found out about Zach's plan and using teamwork, they reconcile and apologize for their misunderstandings, as well as saving the day. (I bolded that because, may I remind you, they never have apologize in the special, which is wild considering its PBS Kids.)
