The writer Frederick Rolfe, a.k.a. Baron Corvo, ca. 1889, around the time he joined the Pontifical Scots College. He was expelled from the seminary four months after his arrival, having to be forcibly removed by a group of servants, "mattress, blanket and all", when he refused to leave.

From last Wednesday, climbed up the bell tower of St. Michael's Church in Kolozsvár/Cluj-Napoca — the church itself was completed ca. 1447, although this tower was only finished in 1862.
It's the tallest church tower in Transylvania, 80m high if you include the cross — probably a fine place to have your cassock billowing around in the wind 76m up, but being that the outside walkway was mostly open and barely accommodated my body width, it was a little too high up for me :)
