Wow, @askmiraclecake has been up for a whole year! I can’t believe it!! Thanks to everyone who has followed and supported the blog so far, and been so patient with the updates. It may take me a while, but updates are always in progress!! I hope you’ve been enjoying the story thus far!

Hey pals! Sorry for the delay with getting another post up. I’ve been pretty stressed out lately, so I haven’t really had the energy to do full-blown art.*

ANYWAY, we’re approaching a follower milestone! Again, I can’t thank you all enough for your support. It means the world to me!!

But I do want to thank you all! So I was wondering what ways would be best to show my thanks? Should I do a contest with art as a prize? Or maybe do some cameos in the blog? Should I do a lot of winners with little prizes, or a few with more effort put in?

Let me know! We probably still have a little while before we hit the milestone, but I thought I’d better ask sooner than later!

I knew Hex was going to show up pretty early on, but I didn’t know her design until this last post... Luckily, I realized I could just use the design of another character, haha!

The glittery freckles may be overdoing it a bit. Definitely keeping them, though.

Introducing: the recap button! It’s a little feature I added to make it easier to remember events of the story. It shows just the posts that seem the most important or relevant at the story’s present time! The posts there will change along with events happening, so stop by if you want a refresher to what’s going on!! Also good for newcomers!

And how about a little bonus art? This was one of my first drawings of Miracle Cake, and I think the first time I drew her and Glowstick interacting!

Well I promised to have the 500 Follower Giveaway prize arts done by the end of January, and it’s still 1/31/18 on my clock so WHOO PROMISE KEPT! I really like how these came out, and I hope their owners like them, too! Here’s the deets:

Ello, the Princess of Video Games (that’s how I think of her anyway) for @ellogypsy777. This was just plain fun to draw, although I felt like I was channeling a bit of gamer!Luna. XD WIN ALL THE THINGS ELLO

Ponified Rye Dimar for @ask-rye-dimar-dragon, another great Ask Blog that’s been around much longer than mine! Rye is a dragon, but his Mod wanted me to ponify him, which was a fun challenge. Obviously his hair and coloring stayed the same, although we removed the stripes because he looked too much like a zebra; I also tried to keep his eye shape similar to his dragon eyes. And hopefully the cutie mark works; we agreed on the design but I’m kind of surprising him with the color scheme.

Thank you guys for participating, and thank you to ALL my Followers for hanging with me! I hope to have more Salespitch shenanigans for you soon (once this crapton of IRL-work on my plate is cleared up!) Also, I plan to put up a commission sheet soon, so if you like how these pics turned out, you’ll have a chance at getting your own. =)
