adrienette keeping their secret identities from their kids is underrated. not only do i think it's more practical/safe (when i was a kid i told all my friends ALL of my parents' dirty secrets because i was very trusting of my friends and also had no solid concept of consequence) but also i think it's more fun to keep the identity shenanigans going. their kids thinking their parents are lame, meanwhile thinking ladybug and chat noir are sooooo cool.

like dad you're soooo lame, stop wanting to play board games with us while we're trying to watch the newest Ladybug and Chat Noir movie. god mom is always so busy and anxious, she's nothing like carefree confident ladybug. my brother dressed up as chat noir for halloween and for some reason it made my dad cry. i told my parents i thought Chat Noir and Rena Rouge had the most chemistry in the movies and they stared blankly at me. i snuck out at night to go to a friend's place and ladybug intercepted me on the street and was super freaked out about it for some reason. some kids at school found out i'm hawkmoth's grandkid and are being mean to me and told me ladybug and chat noir would hate me and it made me cry. mom says ladybug and chat noir LOVE ME SO MUCH but that seems like a stretch?? the other night i heard SOMETHING eating VORACIOUSLY in our cheese cabinet and when i ran to my parents' room to tell them about it they AVIDLY denied it and THEN claimed it was a mouse but how the fuck did a mouse get up there??? why are they so shifty???? and WHO keeps eating my COOKIES

I wanted to do a silly lil love square comic and somehow get alya & nino in there, and at the time, elation was all i could think about! lol (this takes place in a reality where that was the last episode i watched) Thank you @mlsecretsanta for hosting such a cool event 💙

Miraculous Ladybug S4 | Ep 22 | Adrian reveals his true identity

Ladybug thinks to herself, “Chat Noir has a family… I wonder what they’re like?” It cuts to show a picture that’s labeled “Chat Noir’s Family according to Ladybug’s mental image.” It shows civilian Chat Noir sitting in a chair. He still has his cat ears even with no mask. A black cat with a bowtie is sitting on the backrest of the chair and is labeled “M. Noir.” There’s another black cat with a ribbon tied around the neck sitting on the chair’s armrest labeled, “Mme. Noir.” In a box on Chat Noir’s lap, there are two kittens inside labelled, “litter of little siblings.” Ladybug is trying not to laugh at her own imagination. 

In the second comic, it starts by saying, “After identity reveal.” Ladybug looks furious and says, “I cannot believe M. Noir turned out to be Gabriel Agreste,” with Gabriel Agreste underlined. There’s a picture of a cat with a bowtie labelled, “cute fluffy cat dad” that’s there in direct comparison to a picture of Gabriel labelled, “DISGUSTING.” Ladybug keeps on talking, “mon chaton deserves only the best parents this world has to offer!” Then, a lightbulb pops over Ladybug’s indicating she has an idea. She smirks to herself as she thinks, “I have the best parents.” The word I is underlined. The next panel shows her with a bigger smirk as she thinks, “Plan to Get Chat Noir a New Family: Step 1. Convince Adrien on the merits of eloping.” There’s a cartoony drawing of Marinette on one knee proposing to Adrien. End ID]  

the drawn version of a post i made a couple days ago. in summary of that post i want marinette to think about what chat noir’s civilian life is like. and i want her to come up with the most bizarre conclusion possible because she really cant imagine chat noirs life at all. and also because she cant contemplate him being anything but a catboy.

I was digging through my 2018 folder and found this (and cleaned it up a bit.) It’s part of an Origins AU where Ladybug’s yo-yo doesn’t hit Chat’s head and Marinette accidentally says a bit too much of her name, letting Adrien put the pieces together once they get to school.
