"Of course." She guided his hand to where she had felt their daughter kick just a moment before. It wasn't long before another (rather strong) kick could be felt, causing Miranda to grin even wider as she looked at Bucky. She chuckled, rubbing her belly. "She's got her father's strength, that's for sure..."

A wide smile suddenly formed on Miranda's face. "Bucky, I just felt the baby kick!"

“You did? Thats great! Can I get a feel?” Bucky asked her excitedly as he came closer to her and gently put his hand on her belly and waited for her to direct his hand to where their daughter was kicking.

A huge smile lit up Miranda's face as well in response to Bucky's reaction. Seeing him so happy brought her even more joy than she was already feeling. She nodded. "Yep, that's her. That's our little girl. She's just perfect..."

Miranda & Bucky Doctor’s Appointment

Bucky looked at the image when Miranda was pointing things out to him and he was still a little confused, “Wait is this an image of your belly?” he asked her hoping he was right in what he was thinking. Though when she pointed out the image of their little baby girl he felt this huge surge of pride and excitement rush over him as he looked a the little blob on the picture, “Oh my God, thats our little girl?” he asked again as a goofy grin graced his face as he just looked and marveled at the picture.

Miranda sighed. She dreaded having to tell Tony almost as much as she knew Bucky did. She still couldn't help feeling a little guilty, as if she was just making things between Bucky and Tony even worse than they already were, even though Bucky assured her that was not the case. But, this wasn't something they would be able to hide from Tony for long. And, she was sure he would be even more angry the longer they kept this from him. A deep frown formed on her face. "It's not like we're going to be able to hide this from him, Bucky..." Though, maybe he would take the news at least a little better coming from her rather than Bucky. "Maybe I should be the one to tell him..."

Miranda Tells Bucky She's Pregnant

Bucky just held her close to him, occasionally rubbing her arm and kissing the top of her head, things were complicated but he knew they were going to figure things out as they come up. Though when she spoke up again it caused a lump in his throat, “Do we have to?” he asked her a little nervously, he knew that Tony didn’t approve of their relationship but he was sure this was going to cause the man to actually kill him this time.

"I can't believe you, Tony! How can you say any of it was his fault?! Don't you realize the guilt he struggles with on a daily basis because of the things he's done, things that weren't even his fault?! And, how can you think dad cared more about Bucky and Steve than he did his own children?! Dad loved us, Tony. He was just horrible at expressing it. But, you can't expect him not to be think highly of Steve and Bucky. They were war heroes, legends of their time. And, they were dad's close friends." She let out a heavy sigh as she moved closer to Bucky, gently taking his hand, still looking her brother in the eyes. "Tony, I appreciate you not turning Bucky in more than I can even put into words. I appreciate everything you've always done for me. You're my brother, and I love you, Tony. But, I can't change the way I feel for Bucky. I know you don't like it, and I'm sorry. But, I love him."

“I don’t care! Everything that has happened to us since has been his fault, I just can’t believe that you’re defending that monster. Do you realize that I struggle everyday to not turn him into the authorities for the numerous crimes he’s committed, not to mention throttle him myself.” Tony replied to his sister, “Yeah, how could I forget? Dad never shut the fuck up about him and the living capsicle, I often felt like they were the favorite children and they weren’t his children.” Tony replied angrily.

She smiled softly up at him. "I'm fine, Bucky." she told him gently. She honestly found his concern for her very sweet, but, truly, she was fine, if slightly out of breath and more than a little excited. She kissed him again as she began to unbutton his pants.

A slight blush crept onto her cheeks as a wide grin formed on her face. “Actually, I hope the baby looks just like her handsome father.”

“Bucky, I need to talk to you.” Miranda had a million thoughts running through her head. Though, of course, she was happy, she was slightly concerned how Bucky would take the news. Then, there was Tony. Bucky was not his favorite person to say the least, and he was not going to be happy about this. Then, there was the fear of something going wrong. Miranda knew what it was like to lose a baby, and she didn't know if she could go through it again. She took a deep breath. “I'm pregnant…”

“Bucky...?” She felt a sudden terror well up in her chest, though she was not afraid for herself, but for Bucky. She knew that Bucky would never hurt her on purpose, but, HYDRA could have done anything to him in the time before she rescued him. What if they had control of him again? She wasn’t afraid of getting hurt... or worse... she was afraid of Bucky having to live with one more thing on his conscience if he did hurt her by accident.
