Why I Haven't Been Active

idk if it's been noticed but I haven't been active recently, and there's quite a few reasons why...

recently my mental health has dipped somewhat, and I've also been wondering whether or not this place is actually safe for my art, I disabled the thing that allows Tumblr to data train my posts including for AI models but it still makes me wonder whether or not it is safe...

also my IPad has been acting up a lot as of recently, it keeps crashing randomly, it's always on full storage too but it feels like no matter what I do it always keeps crashing, so that really sucks motivation for me to draw or do anything on it tbh

also I've made other accounts on art sites, and I feel like they're going to end up safer tbh, my recent drawings have been posted there

I'm trying to prioritise myself more than anything which is good, but if you want to find me on other sites here is a biolink

Froskitten and Flowline!

two Fakemon I've designed for Pokemon Shores and Stars, my Alaskan inspired FakeDex! what I love about these guys in particular is their evolution method...

First, let's look at Froskitten, a frostbitten kitten who is an Ice Type!

Froskitten’s body is almost entirely frozen, and because of this, it is always shivering. However, its shivering is what allows it to build up power and unleash powerful Ice Type moves. Froskitten are known as being good companions for the summer months due to its always cold body temperature, however, exposure to a Fire Stone will cause its body to rapidly melt…

As hinted, using a Fire Stone on Froskitten will cause it to evolve into Flowline, an Ice/Water Type! I love how instead of getting the Fire Type it gained the Water Type because of melted ice becoming water :3

Upon exposure to a Fire Stone, Froskitten’s body rapidly melts from a combination of evolutionary energy and the stone itself. This causes its once frozen body to melt, and as a result of this, Flowline is much more agile than before. It can control the temperature of the water that makes up its Water moves, going from freezing cold to boiling depending on the situation.

Emerald Winds

no I didn't suddenly vanish I've been playing Pokemon HeartGold on Delta Emulator!

I've downloaded a bunch of Pokemon games on Delta Emulator and since June I've been playing through them, so far I've done Emerald, Platinum, Black, Black 2 and HeartGold!

these are all the starters I chose in the game, aka the protagonists of each chapter of this little series I've been concepting for a few months now!

I'm not motivated to do full colored pieces rn so have these little sketches :3

Meet The Early Mammal!

Introducing the early mammal Pokemon for Pokemon Shores and Stars!

Caribean is a cute little Normal caribou Pokemon who evolves into Icibou and gains the Normal/Ice Type!

Caribean’s body is mostly muscle, which allows it to be surprisingly strong and take a decent amount of blows. With them being common all around Kasal and their docile temperaments, they are common Pokemon for Trainers who are just starting their journey to catch.

Icibou have completely adapted to their tundra environments, and have developed icy patches on their bodies to help them survive. Their hooves are made of pure ice, but due to grips hidden inside, they don’t slip and fall down. They live mostly peaceful, secluded lives within the taigas of Kasal, caring for themselves and young Caribean.

Your Starter Pokemon Have Evolved!

Introducing the evolutions to the starters for Pokemon Shores and Stars!

First is Budsky's evolutions! Budsky evolves into Bloomsky and then into Guardanine, who becomes a Grass/Fairy Type!

Bloomsky are positive Pokemon who are always happy to help others, no matter what it may be. Due to their hardworking natures, they are often tasked with jobs, which they will always accept no matter how dangerous it may be. Its fluffy coat thickens depending on the weather, which in turn allows Bloomsky to work hard in almost any environment.

Guardanine are known for being top Pokemon to hire for rescuers and rangers due to their strong personalities and desire to help others. Its thick, fluffy tails emit natural scents which can calm down those around it, so it is also a good Pokemon for those suffering from anxiety or have bad thoughts often. If it sees someone threatening those it cares about, it won’t hesitate to throw blasts of pollen at them.

Next, Calfire evolves into Belava and then into Orcano, who becomes a Fire/Psychic Type!

Upon evolving, Belava undergo a personality shift, becoming more egotistical than when it was a Calfire. Most of the evolution energy went to Belava’s head, resulting in a giant mass building up with lavalike veins. It is thought that the larger the mass on Belava’s head is, the more intelligent one is.

Having made peace with itself and knowing there is more to life than just intelligence, Orcano travels the lands in order to spread its knowledge with others. The smoke that pours from its blowhole is what allows it to float above land, and it is thought inhaling the smoke will give you an intense amount of knowledge about yourself and everyone around. During battle, Orcano blasts globs of lava from its blowhole, and the flame on its tail burns even more intensely.

Finally, Kiddle evolves into Goatide and then into Swashgoatler, who becomes a Water/Dark Type!

Goatide keep their adventurous personalities from when they were Kiddle, but their recklessness has upped somewhat. They will rashly leap into anything without thinking of a plan beforehand. Because of this, it is thought that training a Goatide can be a challenge unless you form a trusting bond with it, as Goatide will listen to those who it cares about.

Swashgoatler fully embrace their adventurous personalities which have flipped into them developing a thieving side to them. They use cheap tactics during fights to raid opponents of their loot, making off with them when they least expect it. It can unsheath its hidden claws in its hooves to strike, as well as using its sharp cutlass tail to cut foes. Despite its thieving natures, it has a kind heart, and usually the only reason why it steals is to give presents to friends and family.

Introducing the Starters for Pokemon Shores and Stars!

Meet the three starters you will get to choose during your adventures through the Kasal region!

Starting with Budsky, the Grass Type husky puppy Pokemon!

Budsky are Pokemon who are always looking to work, be it for their Trainers or everyday jobs. It may have a small body, but it is surprisingly strong, and it can easily carry heavy loads for its Trainer. During warm days, it photosynthesizes in the sun, which builds up its body strength more and enables it to carry heavier objects.

Next up is Calfire, the Fire Type whale calf Pokemon!

Calfire don’t do well living in water, so they live in hot, arid areas close to volcanic areas in some cases. They are curious, playful Pokemon who love making new friends, and since their body is always warm, they are good Pokemon to hug. Smoke sometimes pours out of its blowhole, which can be an indicator of its health: lots of smoke means it is healthy and happy while little smoke means its weakened.

Finally we have Kiddle, the Water Type goat Pokemon!

Kiddle are known for their adventurous personalities, and can travel for great distances despite their small body. They can shoot water from their hooves, and that water is what cushions it from any fall. Because of this, Kiddle show no fear when jumping from high surfaces, knowing it will be alright.

I like playing Animal Restaurant on my IPad! I downloaded the game back in June but only now thought 'what would some Pokemon look like in this artstyle'

so I tried to replicate it using several animals as a base and using several Pokemon!

Noughsle and Crossun

convergent species of Plusle and Minun I designed! they are obviously named after noughts and crosses and are more foxlike in appearance :3

they are both Dark Types and are known for being trickers, pranking and stealing when people least expect them to, they can also use cheap tactics to win in fights
