Hellish is a bitter being, with very little positive traits to speak of. Though one might say that his analytical outlook makes him a formidable foe and intelligent individual, more often than not he is seen as cocky and arrogant. Hellish holds himself in a high regard, very confident in his abilities and fighting skills.

He is a curious person, always analyzing the world around him. He has a habit of asking a lot of questions, even those that initially seem irrelevant to the topic or situation at hand. He works in unorthodox ways, making him unpredictable in most regards. His methods of combat and problem solving are frequently shown to be violent in nature, as he considers himself more of a fighter than a lover.

Hellish's most major struggle is his battle with identity and purpose, something that he has been searching for most of his life. He tends to prioritize searching for his past and finding an explanation for why his life has become what it is. He very rarely focuses on anything else, knowing deep down that he's not going to remember anything other than the dark void he normally resides in. As such, he is very pessimistic and intentionally pushes others away from him.

To an outsider, it may seem the Hellish is being rude and insensitive on purpose so that others don't have the opportunity to get close to him. How much he truly knows about his relationship with his home world and the dark void is unknown, as his memories are wiped when he returns to his home world. It is suspected that he is aware that his memories are periodically wiped, though how or why cannot be determined.

Within the dark void, Hellish reverts to a version of himself that not many are familiar with. He is much weaker than his current self, and very emotionally sensitive. He is extremely paranoid due to his constant isolation. His pessimism is one of few traits that carries between dimensions, although it appears much more hopeless within the dark void. Hellish is almost always crying within the void, as it is what creates the tears that chain him to the ground.

It can be debated whether or not the Hellish that exists in his home world and the Hellish that exists in the dark void are the same individual, as the two are near polar opposites of eachother.

BACKSTORY:

Hellish is a being who has been alive for many millenia, but never seems to remember his exact age first off. For most of his life, his clearest memories involve being in a dark void, eyes always sore from crying. His tears created chains that held him to the ground, and it was so lonely and dark. He believes himself to always be held in the last circle of hell, trapped in endless loneliness where no noise can exist. His memories are so clear of these events that he easily remembers being there more than once, but he is never quite sure how he gets in there and not sure of how he escapes.

Left to fester with these feelings for decades, he always wakes up back in his home world as if nothing bad had happened, and his memories of past lives, loves, friends and enemies alike are always too pushed back into his mind for him to fully recognize any of these beings, no matter if they would die of old age or live for eternity like himself. For all he knows, God is using him as a toy and takes pride in revoking his true thoughts.

As of his current timeline, Hellish has been alive for more than 10,000 years, but again he is unaware of this fact.

CHARACTER ANALYSIS -- JOHNATHON BLACK

PERSONALITY:

Johnathon is a very focused person, always having his mind set on his goals. He is very proud, of his abilities and himself. Very rarely does he allow others to make him doubt himself, keeping a cool head and a calm demeanor. He is very protective, and holds vows, oaths, and promises to the highest standards. He tends to enforce this sort of behaviour on his peers and subordinates, acting as a role model for many.

He is incredibly, almost unnaturally, patient. He is able to keep calm even in the most stressful situations. He is also extremely strict when it comes to following the rules, and listening to others with more authority than him. He is very stern, and many note that he has a leader-like aura, as much as he dislikes this fact about himself. Though he appears standoffish, his closest friends note that he is a very sweet individual, he's just been through a lot.

Whether for good or worse, Johnathon is very desperate to prove himself. He will willingly put himself in danger either to prove a point or to prove himself. He tends to be caught up in wanting to please other people, regardless of his own personal comfort. Though he appears calm most of the time, he tends to bottle up his feelings until they break, resulting in him lashing out at others very often. He often appears stressed out, and is very easily stressed.

He intensely holds vows and promises, and despises breaking them. If he breaks a promise, vow, or oath, he commonly considers suicide over living with the guilt. He refuses to change this aspect of himself. He hates living with guilt more than anything in the world.

He hates being bossed around, and this shows in his body language. He openly shows his annoyance when given orders, regardless of how willing he is to follow through with them. He will listen to orders even if he is unhappy with them, purposefully angering himself. When he was younger, he was very rebellious, and would constantly stand up to his family. His desire for independence drove him away from others, and he tended to be outcasted in social circles. As he grew, he learned to calm his rebellious nature, but he occasionally relapses. It can be assumed he began to calm his rebellious nature as a consequence of the Morning Kingdom War, now that he was aware of how dangerous it was to disobey orders.

He often blames himself when things go wrong, even if it wasn't directly his fault. He can often be found blaming himself for the deaths of his sisters, wishing that he listened to them more and served as a better role model to them. He is very stubborn in this belief, among many others, and his overbearing pessimism often refuses to allow him to properly mourn and respect his family, who believe they died with honor.

He is not a very social individual, due to his extremely lackluster social skills, and his emotional instability. He comes off as disrespectful or even aggressive to those who aren't close to him. He prefers to be completely by himself, and rarely tries to make new friends.

BACKSTORY:

Johnathon was born as a fox with a twin sister named Zarazia. The last two to join their 11 sisters, their mother Marian passed away while giving birth to the twins. Distraught by the loss of his wife, and not much of a family man to begin with, Johnathon's father Draxen asked Sing-Along's mother if she would take care of the twins since she had a child on the way. Reluctantly she agreed to foster the two, but only until they could take care of themselves. Draxen seemingly disappeared after this event, not to be seen for several years.

After turning 13, Johnathon and Zara were left to be raised by the rest of their family, and take care of themselves. Zara focused on other things, while Johnathon was enrolled in the guards academy. He was mentored by Dexter, who treated him like a son. Dexter helped to take care of Johnathon because he had known Draxen, and could recognize how similar Johnathon looked to him. When Johnathon graduated from the guards academy, Draxen returned to KingdomsVille to find his son. Johnathon took this moment to get to know his father, willingly following along in the things he wanted, including following him to Iadotha.

Draxen took Johnathon to meet Queen Dydar, where he revealed that he had made an agreement with her that if he brought her his son, she would strip him of his Dragonstone abilities, and he could live out his last years as a mortal. Dydar agreed, but decided to change the rules; Johnathon would only become one of her warriors to save Draxen if he could win in a fight against one of her strongest warriors. Desperate to earn his father's approval, Johnathon accepted the duel. He fought with Queen Dydar's strongest warriors, her guardian Sylvan, and was able to win using the sharp thinking and speed brought on by his fox genetics. As the deal already explained, Dydar transferred the Dragonstone magic from Draxen into Johnathon instead, but she also destroyed Sylvan after his 'embarrassing' defeat, and inserted his magic within Johnathon as well. The process was extremely painful as his DNA was altered and the magic overflowed through him. As a result of the transformation, he took on a cat like appearance. He lost control of his magic, and turned feral as though he were a wild animal in his Dragonstone form.

Dydar banished Draxen from her dimension, and took on the task of helping Johnathon control his new magic. A few years passed by, but when he was finally able to keep himself from destroying the world around him, Dydar released him back to the Overworld. 8 years before the prologue of The Journal, Johnathon returned home, and war broke out in KingdomsVille. Though Johnathon hadn't been back from Iadotha for long, he chose to partake in the battle to protect his city. His sisters had already enlisted in the war before him, though Michelle was the only one with experience in the field.

The battle raged on for hours, with Johnathon constantly jumping between fights to help aid his sisters and protect them. Despite his best efforts, each of his sisters perished in the fight, except for Zara who fled the battle before she could be killed. Lily was killed by Jupiter, which would've declared MorningGlory the victor, but he was killed by Dexter moments later. Dexter and Maxwell, the city's Head Guards, announced the end of the fight, with no winner being declared. As the Head Guards, they were tasked to become the city lords. Maxwell accepted his position as the Head Guard of MorningGlory to become the Lord, but Dexter rejected becoming KingdomsVille's lord. Despite the rejection, as the Head Guard, Dexter was able to sign the peace treaty with MorningGlory that signified their alliance. Johnathon was forced into recovery with the KingdomsVille healer, as he was one of the critically injured guards.

Dexter later retired from his position, choosing to pass on the title instead to Johnathon. After seeing the casualties of his family in battle, and knowing Johnathon from a young age, Dexter knew that he would most likely think of committing suicide after the battle. Dexter chose to offer the position to Johnathon to give him something to protect, and a reason to stay alive. Johnathon reluctantly took the position, agreeing with Dexter's idea, and using this opportunity to give his life a purpose once again. For the next few years, he helped in New KingdomsVille's development, even though he chose not to become the new lord.

Maya is generally a very anxious person. She has a poor habit of stuttering, and her pessimism can be contagious. She attempts to use logic and reason in many of her words. However, her logic usually points her in a negative direction, and she rarely chooses to accept anything beyond this negativity. She holds a personal belief that positivity and things associated with it are fleeting, and that the darkness of reality is what must be accepted eventually.

Maya struggles to enjoy her life, as a result of her constant paranoia surrounding her guardian duties. She also struggles to keep herself calm, spending most of her time worrying about things that generally do not matter to other individuals. On the bright side of this, she is very observant and considers her observation skills to be the best thing about her. She is astute and highly perceptive, spending a lot of her time analyzing her surroundings and the individuals she converses with.

Sometimes her strict analysis is distracting, and she may trail off from conversations while trying to research pieces of an individual in her own head. She takes a lot of words to heart, and tends to overthink them to an extreme. She has attempted to calm her overthinking, however it's one thing that she considers 'not very easy to cure.'

Maya cares a lot about other people, typically willing to put them before herself. Her sense of self-preservation is very miniscule, as she believes that sacrifice is the truest way to prove that you care about an individual. She is willing to do so if an event happens where the Sacred Script is stolen or corrupted, happy to suggest it as one of the first solutions to the problem.

Though she attempts to appear smarter than she is, Maya is still a child at heart, and she cannot fully comprehend the direness of situations. She is also very oblivious to things that are not wholly innocent, unable to see the darker or deeper meaning in many words and phrases. She often can be found using large words that she doesn't truly know the meaning of, only in an attempt to make herself be taken more seriously.

Maya, alongside her dog Hei, are the guardians of a Sacred Script within a world parallel to the Sonic universe. This script has been guarded over generations, with Maya being the latest chosen guardian after the original passed on. It is her duty to protect this scroll.

Without the protective elements that the scroll is enchanted with, her world would fall into ruin.

Maya regularly attempts to leave the area where the scroll is kept, promising herself that she won't be gone long. However, her paranoia spikes by thousands when she reaches the base of the stairs at the temple. The thought of something appearing and taking the scroll weighs heavily on her mind at all times, to the point that she refuses even to leave to get food unless it is deliver to her.

Against her own will, she is forced to guard the sacred scroll. If she dares to step away, she could be ending the world and be completely unaware of it. She is forced to live this life, whether she wishes to or not.

NOTICE: Mystic's original story follows that she is one of two daughters of Twilight and Rarity. For this blog, this part of Mystic's storyline is voided. She can be a next gen child ON REQUEST ONLY.

PERSONALITY:

Mystic is a pony with a very sour attitude and snappy tone, and a sailor's mouth to top it off. Most ponies will openly state that they dislike her for how irritable and aggressive she is. Due to her pain cause by being born an alicorn, Mystic very rarely wears a smile. She is often seen frowning or scowling, and has a very flat and annoyed tone to her voice. She is typically disinterested in the interests of others, and very rarely takes time off to hang out with her friends. She is easily annoyed by most things, and has a hair-trigger temper. Mystic has been known to get violent when she is very annoyed, as proven when she attacked Cherry Jelly after their brief reunion. Mystic is well aware of her violent tendencies, and it is the main reason why she tries to avoid the ponies she cares about, because she doesn't like the idea of hurting them.

Most of Mystic's days are spent in silent suffering, being alone with her pains and her thoughts. She is very insecure about who she is, and hates the idea of being treated like royalty. She is vehemently against being a Princess, refusing to accept the title and even despising being referred to as 'your highness.' Mystic is very rooted in the things that she actually wants to do, and tends to get into arguments over how she wants to live her life. She is very sensitive when it comes to her lifestyle and occupation, making her snappy nature extremely prevalent. She prefers to avoid her problems rather than face them head on, which is why she cancelled her coronation yearly for more than 10 years.

Mystic has a very hard time enjoying her life because of the constant pain she goes through, but she does have a real personality underneath all of it. Mystic is somewhat shy in the eyes of other ponies, and is a very heavy introvert. She is very smart, taking more than half of her life to go to school and learn all that she could. She has several degrees under her belt, making her well versed in many categories that others may not be. She has a habit of correcting other ponies when they speak misinformation, even if they didn't ask for an explanation. She loves to debate the things that she's studied, and takes joy in making fun of others who doubt her.

Mystic is heavily pessimistic, and in some instance she is downright sadistic. She shows an extremely strong interest in the concept of death and reincarnation, especially when it comes to the topic of the undead. Mystic claims herself to be the Princess of the Undead, wishing to have an army of undead ponies to be her guards. Though her ideas are shot down by most ponies, she continues to study topics such as necromancy in her free time. Some of the rare moments where Mystic is the happiest include when she gets to speak on the topic of necromancy. Mystic's magic is advanced enough to be able to perform necromancy, though she is forbidden from using this magic on ponies, and instead is forced to practice her abilities on animals. She continues to dream about having an undead army, and she has many dreams that reveal this dark aspect of her character.

Mystic is happiest when she is dreaming, because she rarely feels pain in her dreams. She is able to relax in peace, making her seem like a much calmer pony. She tries not to think negative thoughts while she's dreaming, for fear of turning the dream into a nightmare. She is much more positive since she can enjoy 'life' without pain. It can be assumed that Mystic's dreams are the most outward show of her personality, revealing the kind nature that lies under her immense sass and perpetual irritability.

BACKSTORY:

Mystic was born an alicorn like her sister. Unlike Lapis, Mystic could survive with her wings, so they didn't need to be removed. Because of her wings demanding so much from her body due to their advanced magic, Mystic has developed an advanced version of fibromyalgia and needs to take pain medications several times a day. She wants to remove them, but the doctors refuse to because of the wings being so developed that their magic directly connects to her horn's magic; removing the wings would mean having to remove the horn as well, which is something she is vehemently against. She has shown progress in healing, but she is still in major pain.

Mystic has tried to live her life to the fullest since she was young, but she was never able to get proper schooling because of her bad attitude and violent pains. Mystic was forced to do homeschooling in order to curb her mood swings, while still giving her a proper education. When she was old enough to go to college, she chose to go on a campus to test everything that she learned properly.

Mystic was thought to be a princess since she was a kid because of being born an alicorn, but they were never able to hold a coronation for her because Mystic would always cancel them the second she found out one was happening. She never wanted to be a princess, but her family was extremely pushy towards making her become one. However, no matter how secretive they tried to be, Mystic was easily able to find out when planning was happening, and she cancelled the coronations for years. She wanted to be a guard pony instead, and as such, she was enrolled in a guards school early on before her college days.

When Mystic graduated the guards school, she was placed under the care of Tempest Shadow and became one of her soldiers. Mystic was discharged when she began college, but Tempest promised that she could come back to her old squadron when she finished her studies. Of course, it was nearly impossible for this to take place because Mystic forced herself to continue college so she could avoid her coronation as much as possible. Tempest and Mystic grew close during their time on the field, and things were hard for them when Mystic had to be out of commission.

Mystic has gone through a lot in her life, including the break up that she experienced in college. Being nearly forced into princesshood so many times didn't exactly help matters very much, and she didn't even like going to college to have to avoid it. She often fell into deep depressive episodes, wondering if she could ever do anything to fix her condition and cure herself. She knew she could remove her horn and wings and just be an earth pony, but she didn't want to live in a pain-free world without her abilities. She didn't know how not to be selfish, and that even stems into her current life. It is a constant problem that she has put upon herself, and it is something that she finds difficult to simply ignore or attempt to change.
