Morning Mantra: "Sometimes you need a Stop Doing list as badly as you need a To Do list."
Most people understand the concept of a "To Do" list. We diligently list all our responsibilities and feel good as we scratch each one off upon completion.
But it might be a good idea to make a "Stop Doing" list too.
We could list things like:
Stop complaining.
Stop comparing.
Stop judging.
Stop criticizing.
Stop blaming.
Stop ignoring the truth.
Stop resenting.
A reminder to stop doing behaviors and thoughts that do not serve our greater good.

Winston Churchill loved paraprosdokians, figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected.
1. Where there's a will, I want to be in it.
2. The last thing I want to do is hurt you, but it's still on my list.
3. Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
4. If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

it in a fruit salad.

8. To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism. To steal from many is research.
9. I thought I wanted a career. Turns out, I just wanted pay checks.
10. In filling out an application, where it says, 'In case of emergency, notify:' I put "DOCTOR."
11. I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
12. Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street...with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
13. Behind every successful man is his woman. Behind the fall of a successful man is usually another woman.
14. A clear conscience is the sign of a fuzzy memory.
15. You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.
16. Money can't buy happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live with.
17. There's a fine line between cuddling and...holding someone down so they can't get away.
18. I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
19. You're never too old to learn something stupid.
20. To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
21. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
22. Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
23. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
24. I'm supposed to respect my elders, but now it’s getting harder and harder for me to find one.

I never enjoyed cooking until a health issue in my 30's forced me to take control of my diet. Knowing exactly what was in the food I was eating became a slight obsession to say the least. I despised cooking up to that point. Now it is something that I find great joy and calmness.
This is the first "real" recipe I made. I was living in a rural area at the time so it seemed so exotic to be using salsa verde. Although no longer a staple in my menu, I make this every few years just for the nostalgia. I want to remember how it felt to cook something that I had never heard of let alone eaten! The ingredients and process are simple, but it felt like I had mastered the cooking world!

How many coal plants are there in the world today? The EU has 468 - building 27 more... Total 495
Turkey has 56 - building 93 more... ....Total 149
South Africa has 79 - building 24 more... Total 103
India has 589 - building 446 more......... Total 1035
Philippines has 19 - building 60 more...... Total 79
South Korea has 58 - building 26 more... Total 84
Japan has 90 - building 45 more............. Total 135China has 2,363 - building 1,171 more.... Total 3,534
That’s 5,615 projected coal powered plants in just 8 countries.
USA has 15 - building 0 more...Total 15
Democrat politicians with their "green new deal” want to shut down those 15 plants in order to "save” the planet.Whatever the USA does or doesn’t do won’t make a bit of difference regarding CO2 unless the rest of the world, especially China and India, reduces coal-fired power plants also. The “global warming” and “climate change” gambits by Democrats are to create a *supposedly* sound, scientific basis to justify a federal government power-grab and the passage of MORE laws to increase taxes and increased control of the privately owned power industry and its distribution. Never forget the *main* motivation they have.
“We will SAVE the planet!” 100% B.S.
