i'm a huge fan of Republicans, conservatives or however you want to be politically labeled choosing country over party. please let me see more stories. it's a brave thing to do this. even if you voted for him in both 2016 & 2020 but you changed your mind now, WELCOME. it's a massive deal to get out of any cult successfully & MAGA is no different. being filled with anger & hatred, & fear is intoxicating & honestly easier than choosing to do the right thing. i'm glad you saw the light.

check your registration status often & don't stop talking about Project 2025. they can pretend they're distancing themselves from it as much as they want but it's absolutely their policy. we can do this though if we just show up & VOTE. we got this 💙

I have been thinking about Jung’s theory of the shadow and how that plays out in the world. A young person is taught, for example, that expressing her natural sexuality is negative; she grows up ignoring her own curiosity about her sexual self, rejecting that element of her personality in the attempt to be “good.” And then (possibly) her denial of that part of herself it into a monster that she keeps hidden. When it finally comes out, it is stronger than it should be, and she is even more ashamed because it has become important.

Same is true of anything that we feel and we repress: anger, darkness, etc. distance yourself from your own dark essence at your peril.

Republicans live to obstruct Biden legislation. Today Biden asked congress for 4.7 billion for the border crises. The ball is their court. If the house doesn't pass it, Republicans will once again look like fools.
