Ima be 100% honest I forgot what S/O meant and couldn't figure out if you wanted romantic or platonic, so I just made it so it can be interpreted as either. [TWDG] Louis x Funny (Fem) Reader

The first time he met you, he had the same opinion as he normally would.

You seemed cool enough.

You hadn't attacked anyone, so that was a plus.

But he quickly began to pick up on something.

You had a sense of humour!!

Of course,

Most people do.

But Louis has a specific sort of humour.

Like, the sort that can make anything serious become funny.

And behold,

You had that gift!

Yes, gift.

An amazing sense of humour is considered a gift.

By Louis, anyway.

By the others..

Well, that depends.

So, of course,

He's quick to approach you.

And how could you resist his 'charm'?

Just kidding.

It's hard to find somebody similar to him,

Someone willing to make jokes in almost any situation.

But it looks like Louis managed.

As you may expect,

The two of you get along like a house on fire!

Certainly brightening up the day with your constant banter and jokes.

And through this, Louis is also able to form a deeper bond with you.

You understand him.

You understand his problems.

His need to make jokes to brighten up everyone else's day.

And the fact that after the jokes,

They just stop listening.

But you don't.

And he's thankful for that.

Thankful for someone to talk to.

Beyond jokes, I mean.

Whether it be corny jokes,

Or jokes that have some serious setup,

You don't stop listening when it's done.

And neither does Louis.

You both grow to appreciate each other beyond being 'partners in crime'.

And that's pretty damn sweet.

Hi! Sorry it took so long to get to this, school just started again so I’ve been pretty busy. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!!

Let’s say she’s on a run a little bit outside of the safe zone

And she walks into an abandoned building, maybe a house or an old store

As she’s rummaging through the shelves she hears a soft crying coming from the room next to her

It reminds her of A.J.

She immediately runs into the room, knocking down the door and following the noise

When she sees you, she’s in utter shock

She picks you up and checks you for bites

Once she sees you’re all good and no bites she’ll carry you back to Ericson’s, humming to you quietly to keep you from crying

She begs Marlon to let you stay

He finally gives in because A.J. wouldn’t stop bothering him about how he’d love to have a little sibling

Everyone is a bit hesitant at first but they all warm up to you eventually

Louis is Setting traps outside of the school when he hears a noise

He begins to follow it, finding a toddler sat under a tree

He crouches down and looks each way before picking you up, worried it may be a trap

He runs back to the gates and informs Willy that he has a toddler with him

Everyone was surprised when they saw a baby, alive and in an apocalypse

Louis will try and Name you but picks out the worst names imaginable

I can imagine him trying to think of a name to call you, and Violet is next to him thinking how stupid they all are

But after a few days of being there, the group ends up loving you

Violet is not happy to find you, she’s obviously worried about you but also worried that you’ll attract walkers by crying

She checks you for bites and picks you up, holding you outwards so if she somehow missed a bite you wouldn’t be able to bite her

She acts like you annoy her, but she starts to warm up to you after a few days

Clem was going to the greenhouse and asked Violet to watch after you for a bit

Violet just sat in the room with you until you grabbed onto a toy on the floor that A.J. had left there

“You want that?” Violet asked you

You nodded and she gave you the toy, and began talking to you

Clem found her playing toys with you in the room

And after that Violet isn’t worried anymore

He was on a run with Louis when he found you

You were on a porch, outside of a house

Louis ran up to you and Marlon followed after him

They both were a bit worried and Marlon checked you for bites then picked you up

They both ran back to the school quickly, worried incase it was a trap

Marlon let you stay at the school ‘for a few days’ to see if it was a trap

When nothing happened, it was already too late because everybody loved you

Mitch was finding firewood when he heard crying

He was scared but still followed it, incase it was a baby or a child that was alone

He found you and picked you up, looking for bites and when he found none he walked back to the school

And while walking back to the school in an effort to call down your crying which failed miserably

He went into Marion’s office and told him he’d found a toddler in the woods

Marlon told him to keep you at the school until everybody agreed on what to do

When they decided on keeping you there, Mitch acted annoyed but secretly was relieved

He warmed up to you pretty quickly after that though

To be honest I think Aasim would be more confused than scared or worried

Like, why is there a toddler, alone, in the woods, in a zombie apocalypse…?

He’d definitely take you in to the school no matter what though

He’d beg Marlon to let you stay at Ericson’s with them

And when he finally agreed, Aasim was so happy

Everybody would warm up to you fairly quickly

I feel like if he wanted to give you a name, it would be from a book he read or something

Or he’d let Ruby name you

I’m gonna give y’all the tl:dr at the beginning

Likes aren’t feedback. What I want on my work is feedback.

I define serial-liking as reading through a series or masterlist and only liking each work, giving no other signs of life. I know some people like fics to come back to later, but there’s no reason I should see “So-and-so just liked As It Was Part1, Part2, Part 3 etc” in that case. You would just like the Masterlist or the first chapter NOT each part and the extras too.

This post isn’t even about reblogging (which readers don’t do enough of either but that’s a whole other post for another day), this is about a complete lack of communication from readers.

I write for myself but I share it because fandom is a community. This should be a two-way street! I’m here to meet and talk about the things I love with other people who love them too!

When you serial like my series or my masterlist and say nothing, what I’m getting is “I like this work but I don’t appreciate you for writing it. I like this but not enough to make sure you continue it.” A like doesn’t even automatically translate to “I like this” anymore! More like “I saw this”. I can’t infer that you read my work much less what you thought of it. It’s disappointing and disheartening.

And since the common rebuttal to any writer who complains about the lack of readers doing the bare minimum is “not sure what to say/too shy to say a lot” here are some suggestions of short replies that I’d be thrilled to get (more than welcome to copy and paste these if you need my permission for that):
