Something in was wrapped around the redhead’s wrist once it was offered. A few grunts of frustration followed when the little clasp didn’t cooperate, but it eventually caught. “Okay! Open ‘em!”

If Sahar looked, she’d find Anita standing with her own wrist held up, a bracelet wrapped around it. The one she wore matched the one she had wrapped around Sahar’s, except the colors of the threads were their favorite rather than the same. But the handcuffs that kept the loop ends together clearly stated the two of them were partners in crime for as long as the two were friends. Which, Anita claimed, would be forever and ever and ever.

“You like ‘em? I made sure to get two so we match!”

“Alright, so—— I know it’s early! But I was looking at your gift, and I kind’a figured you might want it sooner rather than later. Not really sure it would last that long if I waited ‘til Christmas. I, uh.  .  . I don’t really know if you celebrate it. I’m— here.” Peter stopped his rambling short and held out a small bag for Sahar to take.

Inside, tucked between fat wads of snowflake-pattern tissue paper, were two full bags of chocolate-covered espresso beans. He didn’t know the woman well, but he was an observant one when he knew what to look for. Any interest she had taken in a thing, he took note of. This was the least he could do on his tiny budget, but he hoped it would do.

“I think I remember seein’ you eating these before, but I wasn’t sure. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to help you stock up a little.” He smiled sheepishly. “Merry Christmas.”

Can They Use Chopsticks? 

Yes. Sahar is extremely graceful with using them because she used to struggle with them in the past. She learned through picking up smaller things and non-edible objects before she felt comfortable eating with them. She prefers Korean chopsticks since they are flatter and are made of stainless steel.

What Do They Do When They Can't Sleep?

This a normal occurrence for Sahar since she tends to suffer from insomnia. Normally, she makes a cup of calming tea or has a glass of lemon water. When it really bad and she needs rest, she usually tries to try herself out through a walk around her room.  

What Would They Impulse Buy At The Grocery Store?

Sahar enjoys bitter a taste and tends to indulge in dark chocolate or chocolate covered coffee beans. She occasionally gets sour candy when she is nearing the start of her period, but tries to avoid sugar as much as she can. 

What Order Do They Wash Things In The Shower?

Sahar has an order that she always sticks to. Before getting into the shower, she removes her makeup. First, she shampoos her hair [ this not done with every routine because she does not want to strip her hair of natural oils ]. Second, she conditions her hair while using a facial scrub for her face. Third, she washes her body with an exfoliating loofah that is super scratchy and removes at least one layer of skin. Finally, she uses in-shower lotion and a regular lotion after. Her facial routine includes a toner, argan oil, moisturizer, aloe vera, and a rosewater spray. 

What’s Their Coffee Order?

Medium dark roast black coffee without cream or sugar. 

What Sort Of Apps Would They Have On Their Smartphone?

Mostly things for productivity with an occasional game or two. The games would be related to puzzles or sudoku.  

How Do They Act Around Children?

Sahar tends to be more casual and friendly toward children. While she is polite to adults, she tends to be rather more personal to younger people. Her playful side comes out and she allows herself to relax. However, she not opposed to giving out discipline and will be strict and unforgiving in doing so. 

What Would They Watch On TV When They’re Bored And Nothing They Really Like Is On?

Sahar doesn’t really watch T.V. unless there is a documentary, horror, or historical drama series on. Even then, she only allows one or two hours for this since she is extremely busy.

How do you feel about Sahar?

       What an invading question. That was the first thought dancing in the Chief of Staff’s mind as he gazed slightly off to the side with a unknown tint spreading on his pale cheeks, making it clear that certain emotions were toying with his mind upon hearing something like that.

Sahar was a wonderful and strong individual, what was there more to say? Just that she was always there whenever he needed someone and that she had helped him when he had needed it the most - at a time where nothing seemed to help and everything seemed dull and meaningless; at the time of Ace’s death. It had made his mind break into a million pieces and Sabo had been left numb and cold. It had been the worst time of his life as he had been stuck in the lying circle of being ‘okay’ when he truly hadn’t been. There had been nightmares plaguing him every single night, something he hadn’t told anyone and yet, Sahar had come to him like a savior and kept him together when his mind had been cracking and crumpling. This was something no one knew about because like always, Sahar had been polite, keeping it all to herself as she had sat together with the Chief who had desperately needed that warm presence, a warm presence that had bored its way into his heart in the best way possible.

But.. what could he say about his feelings? It was difficult when you actually didn’t quite understand your own emotions, who could really blame the man who had grown up in a jungle filled with wild beasts that had tried to eat you and not discuss normal human emotions with you. His heart was skipping a beat whenever Sahar smiled or whenever she graced him with a caress or a friendly hug, was that a sign? Perhaps, but being clueless like a caveman, the Chief merely looked down with a soft blush on his cheeks. Normally, confidence oozed from every pore, but right now, Sabo felt strangely vulnerable in his lack of understanding and lack of words.

🌟 Pomona mistakenly referred to Sahar as “nurse” even after continuous correction. 

She would always apologize for this. Up until she met Sahar, a female doctor was unheard of and considered impossible to her. Sahar’s youthful physical appearance was also a factor in throwing Pomona off since she believed doctors were supposed to look older.

🌟 Sahar is the third doctor Pomona grew to relax around aside from Marco and Deuce. 

Rather than call her “Sister Sahar”, she called her “Doctor Sahar” despite hearing others call her “Doctor Rosée ” or other wise. Though she knows it may be informal, she simply finds Sahar’s name pleasing to say over Rosée (also because it sounds similar to Rosa – the crew’s musician). 

🌟 Due to Sahar educating Pomona on knowledge regarding the digestive system (and numerous nutrition related topics in between), Pomona tries to come up with healthier recipes. 

In fact, Sahar inspired her to be much more conscious when it came to specifically cooking foods with ample sugar or salt in them. However, sometimes Pomona will break her own rules because she finds it hard to cook certain dishes without the exact ingredients and measurements.

🌟 Once Pomona learned Sahar loved cats, and the two women bonded more, Pomona would sometimes gift her desserts or small snacks with a cat theme to them. 

Pomona personally had little to no exposure to felines due to her relatives carrying an array of allergies. She was conditioned to view them in a negative light, but she couldn’t help questioning how cats truly behaved (maintaining a rather neutral view). Thus, she has to look through her archive of books to reference them. 

If Noora is still Sahar’s cat in the WBP verse, Pomona will also try to observe her from a distance and base the food mainly on her.

🌟 Because they both have the problem of internalizing and bottling up their emotions, therapy sessions held between the two are surprisingly effective.

This only becomes the case later once Pomona and Sahar break the ice between themselves. Pomona still hesitates spilling full details on her emotions but really appreciates that Sahar is there to listen and give professional feedback. Pomona can also talk about certain topics only women could understand (such as PMS) with Sahar, which ease her greatly. Obviously, Pomona will do the same for Sahar should she speak about her experiences in return, though her feedback is less professional and based more on experiences and books she’s read. Together they will sometimes find some solution for their troubles (if talking and listening is not enough).

hey. i just finished my last project. i’ll be taking it super slow tonight cause some personal things came up. but i wanted to just take the time to thank everyone who sent me birthday wishes. it means a lot to me esp cause i was in final hell. i love you all and hope everyone had been good

updates:

i am still in the mist of finals and paper hell and i will return maybe around mid-december [ i prob won’t be on for my birthday cause i have a final design project to finish that is due by 12/7 ]? 

I deleted the tumblr app and apparently, there is some conflict with some child p*rn*graphy issues and apple has refused to have the app in the store anymore. unfortunately, i can’t lurk or look at things via mobile until this issue is resolved.
